(1) "It wasn't my call"

"Are you going to eat that?" Bucky said when he saw Madison's extra burger.

"Uh..no. Here you can have that." Madison said

They were sitting at their table in the lunchroom. Madison's boyfriend of two years Lincoln sat beside her.

"Hey beautiful." He said as he kissed her cheek.

"Hey.." she said

Yelena sat beside Bucky and they proceeded to make out with each other. "Get a room!" Natasha said as she threw fries at them.

"We will later. And I will make sure she is so loud that you and Rogers cant concentrate." Bucky said

"Ass." Natasha said

"You are being so rude Buck." Madison said

"What? She was being rude. I was just greeting my girl" Bucky said

"You looked like you were eating her face. We need her face she is front and center in the new cheer routine with me." Madison said

Yelena highed fived her. "Hellz to the yeah we are."

Bucky rolled his eyes. "The only thing I will be eating is her pussy. Some of us like oral Mads." Bucky said

Her face went red as she looked to her boyfriend. "Linc?" She whispered as tears welled.

"I..um. Im sorry baby we were talking in the locker room. You know how guys talk darlin.." he said

She picked up her tray and walked away. "Buck that was to far." Yelena said as she went to find Madison.

"Thanks alot dude. Im probably not getting laid tonight and she just got off her period." Lincoln said

"Sorry Peters. I didnt think she would get that upset." He said as he ate the other burger she gave him.

While they were sitting in third period. They each got a text from their parents.

To: Madison
From:Daddy

"Make no plans tonight. Family meeting highly important. No ifs ands or buts."

To: James Buchanan
From:Dad
"Family meeting tonight. No girlfriends allowed and no after practice plans."

Bucky sighed as he went back to his history test. Madison went back to her English paper as she was in study hall.

After school and practice the boys came into the gym. Lincoln came over to Madison as she was getting a drink of water.

"Hey you. Are we hanging out tonight?" He said

She wiped her mouth. "No..dad said that there is important family meeting." She said

"Oh.." he said as he began to walk her out.

Bucky and Yelena was making out in the middle of the gym. "So..about what you said earlier?" She said

"That will have to wait baby doll. Important family meeting tonight Ive been told no girlfriend and no plans." He said as he walked her backwards.

"Boo.." she said with a pouty face.

"I know I know. Im upset too but I have to follow the rules or I cant see you sexy thing." He said as he kissed her against the gym door.

"Excuse us trying to leave here." Wanda said as Clint held her hand.

"Sorry Maximoff." Yelena said as they moved.

When they got outside Alice and Winnie were discussing a patient that came into the office. Bucky started to walk Yelena to her mom's car.

"James.." Winnie said

"I know. Im just walking her to her car." He said

He kissed Yelena goodbye. Lincoln kissed Madison. "Love you.." he whispered

"Love you too." She said as he walked to his dad.

"Lets go you two." Alice said

They both got in Alice's car since it was her day to car pool. When they pulled in Winnie said "Showers then meet us in the Baker kitchen."

"Yeah yeah." Bucky said

Once he was done with his shower he came over. He found Madison sitting on the counter he sat beside her. James gave him a plate of pizza along with Madison.

"Alright.." Mitchell said as the older kids came in.

"Whoa..this is serious if they are here. Who died?" Bucky said

"Oh my god. They are giving us pizza not chinese. I cant believe that is where your mind went. We get chinese when someone dies. Remember when we lost our great grandmothers." Madison said

"Shut up. They could give us pizza to soften the blow." Bucky said as he pushed her.

"Dont push me!" She said in a raised tone.

"You two knock it off." Mitchell said

"Nobody has died. Your grandfather Governor James Barnes Sr called me today. He is hosting a governor's ball to celebrate his win. He has asked that his family be there. Its going to be a busy weekend of brunches dinner parties and the ball at the end. Of course Congressman Jasper Baker and Susan will be in attendence." James said

Both Bucky's and Madison's face lit up. Their wheels were turning in their heads.

"Now that we have broken that news. We need to talk to you two alone." Mitchell said as he pointed to Madison and Bucky.

They both looked at their parents. Their older siblings and Bucky's twin little sisters left the kitchen.

"I seen your faces." Alice said

"Madison your grandfather has asked that you not bring Lincoln. Im sorry..it wasnt my call to make." Mitchell said

Madison looked down as she hopped off the counter. "Madison.." Alice said as she walked out wiping tears.

"Let me guess Yelena isn't allowed to come either." Bucky said as he hoped off the counter too.

"Sorry son. Dad said she wasn't allowed to come either." James said

"So fucking unfair. Brody Gabe and Becca get to bring their signifcant others but not me. I have been with her since I was 13 dad that should mean something." He said

"Ditto. Allie Dylan Robbie and Ashtyn get to bring theirs. Lincoln and I have been together the same amount of time as he and Lena." Madison said as she came back in.

"Guys. It wasnt our call to make just do you as you are asked. The weekend is in two weeks." Mitchell said

"Whatever." Madison and Bucky said as they went their seperate ways.
