(11) Twins Are Coming..Early

When Madison was 34 weeks she and Bucky were out of school. They had spent the last three days getting the nursery set up. Korilynn was on a girls' trip with her mom and sisters on a cruise. So Bucky had some free time to help her.

They had the windows opened all week to air out the paint fumes. One side of the nursery was blue which was Bodie's side. His dresser was blue above his dresser hung the picture of them in the bed.

On the other side of the purple which was Sutton's. Her dresser was pink and it was the milk bath picture above hers since that one had flowers in it. They set up the crib in the middle of the bedroom.

They had finally gotten everything done in the nursery. Bucky was downstairs in the basement playing a game with the guys. Madison came into the kitchen to get some water.

"Bucky.." she said when she saw the door open.

"I'll be right back guys I think Madison needs me." He said as he threw his head set on the coffee table.

He ran upstairs "Mads did you need something?" He said

"Something doesn't...feel.." she said

"Madison..hey Mads..look at me." He said as he walked over to her.

Her eyes rolled and she hit the floor. "MADISON!!" Bucky yelled as caught her head.

He tapped her face. "Mads..come on wake up..fuck!." He said as he pulled out his phone.

He called 911 first then their parents. "Mads please..come on wake up. Please..you cant die on me." He said

Their parents came running in. Winnie pulled out her stethoscope and checked her pulse. "She's breathing..and she has pulse. What happened James?" Winnie said

"I dont know. She hollered for me then she was trying to something doesnt feel..then boom she was on the floor." He said

The EMTs came in put her on the stretcher after they assessed her. Bucky rode with her in the back of the ambulance. They quickly rushed her into an OR where Dr Maximoff  was waiting.

"James you cant stay. This is an emergency c section. Go be with your parents." Elena said

"Okay." He said he went with the nurse that lead him to the waiting room.

Bucky was bouncing his legs as he waited. Korilynn kept texting him to keep him calm. After waiting an hour Elena came out.

"Okay. Mama and the twins are both fine. Her blood pressure spiked high which caused the twins to go into distress." Elena said

"She isnt even 16 yet Elena. She shouldnt be having blood pressure problems." Mitch said

"I know thats why I find it odd myself. But anyways the twins will have to stay here for the next three weeks atleast. The cardiologist wants to keep her for a week to monitor her." Elena said

"Can I see them?" Bucky said

"Yes you may. Come with me." Elena said

Bucky followed her to the nursery. He got to see the twins and give them their names. Bucky went to see Madison they had her with a oxygen mask on.

"Mads..can you hear me?' He said

She slowly opened her eyes. "Buck.." she whispered

"Shh..since when do you have blood pressure problems at 15." He said

She shook her head no. "You scared me" he whispered

"Im sorry. Are the twins okay?" She whispered

"Yes they are fine. Sutton looks like you. She was 5lbs and 4oz and Bodie is 6lbs and 5oz. Maybe its a good thing you had them early he was going to squoosh her." He said

She laughed.

"He is the oldest. Elena said they are 4 minutes apart." He said

"Like us. You are 7 months older than me." She said

"Yeah..Kori said to get well soon. I waited to tell the others." He said

"Okay. Dont tell Linc..oln." she said remembering that he asked her not call him Linc anymore.

"I wont.." he said as their parents came in.

Everyone took turns staying with Madison for the week she had to stay. And for the last two weeks of the twins hospital stay Madison pumped for them to have milk overnight. Alice would bring her every morning so she could feed them and visit with them. Bucky even though he brought Korilynn with him he would come after football practice and sit with her and the twins.

On July 15th they were finally able to bring the twins home.
