(6) Morning Sickness and Bad Break ups

It was Christmas morning they were all in Atlanta. The Bakers were walking into the Barnes house. They always did Christmas breakfast in their pajamas at the Barnes.

Madison kept a secret from everyone. She was late and had been throwing up for the last three days. When she walked into the kitchen Bucky was helping his grandmother with the bacon.

"Morning Madison and Merry Christmas." Lucille Barnes said

"Merry..Christmas Lucy." She said as her stomach started to churn from all the smells.

"Honey you alright. You just went white." Winnie said

She swallowed hard. "First door on the left." Bucky said as she started to dry heave.

Alice met her in the hall and followed her in. "Baby.." Alice said as Madison puked.

Once she was done Alice helped clean her up. "Why don't you go upstairs sweetheart and let your stomach settle. I hope I didnt give you the flu." Alice said

She got her upstairs and laying in one of Lucille and James Sr's guest rooms. Bucky knocked on the door.

"Grandma said to give her this." Bucky said as he handed Madison a bottle of ginger ale.

"Thank you James." Alice said as she covered up Madison.

They both left the room and let her rest. When the food was done Bucky went upstairs and found her sleeping.

"Mads?" He said

"What?" She said as she opened her eyes.

"Food is ready if you feel like you can eat is what your mom said." He said

"Okay.." she said as she sat up.

She carefully got up and took her ginger ale with her. They sat at their spots at the bar top of the kitchen. Everyone dug in and ate breakfast.

Bucky watched as Madison ate two full plates. When she was done she went to the living room to wait for everyone to get done so they could do presents. Bucky came into the room and found her asleep.

"Madison?" He said

She jumped. "What?" She said

"We need to talk.." he said

She got up and ran to the bathroom. Alice heard her and went running.

"Baby..how long has this been happening?" Alice said as Madison sat against the wall.

"The last three days. But mama Im fine I just need to go lay down." She said

"No you are not fine. We need to go to the hospital." Alice said

"No..I am fine mom. I just need to rest." She said as she ran out.

She laid back down just as she was about to fall asleep Bucky came in. He laid beside her.

"You need to go to the hospital." He whispered

"No I dont want to." She whispered

He looked at her. "Mads come on. You are sick.." he said

"I know whats wrong hence why I dont want to go." She said as she sniffled.

"Madison..please tell me that you arent late..that this is the flu." He said

"Im late..and I know its yours." She said

"How do you know that? You are having sex with Linc." He said

"Because of the way me and Linc have sex." She said as she sat up and looked down.

"What does that mean?" He said as he sat up beside her.
