New Frenemies

"Come on, Kami." Mina urged. "You've been staring at that stupid cat all week. It doesn't like you."

"I know, but it looks really familiar. I swear I've seen something about it before." Kaminari kept staring from across the room as Mina dragged him away.

"We have to go to class, come on!" Mina groaned. "Aizawa won't let us in if we're late."

An alarm beeped on a nearby clock. It had an All-Might voice and yelled: "Kacchan wake up! You're late!"

Distant explosions were heard.

"Shit, we gotta go." Denki became the one who was pulling their friend along.

"I'm going to tell Shinso that you're cursing if you say that again." Mina warned as Kami quickly shut up and continued dragging her into their school building.

"A second before I was about to close the door." Aizawa sighed, disappointed. "Could have knocked off two brats at once."

"Ouch, sensei." Kaminari snorted, sitting in his seat. Mina sat in hers as class started.

"As much as I hate to say it, but we've gotten two new students." Aizawa groaned, slowly sliding into his sleeping bag. "Toru has recently transferred out and Mineta was kicked to Class 1-C."

"I'll take it from here Sensei!" Nezu popped up from the tired man's sleeping bag. "Please be kind to the new students, Mr. Bakugo."

"What?! Why me?! Stupid mutt bear mouse fucker!"

"You're not helping your own case Kacchan." Midoriya sighed.

"Thank you, Midoriya." Nezu exhaled, somehow holding a cup of tea in his hand. What was that man-animal? Manimal?

(yeah i got distracted)

"Please welcome Kokichi Oma to Class 1-A!" Nezu hopped on the desk, sat down, and crossed his legs. Classy. "Please introduce yourself!"

A teenage boy walked into the classroom. He had purple hair, a checkerboard bandanna and was overall very short and frail.

"Nishishi~" The boy, Kokichi, laughed. "I'm Kokichi Oma and I came from Hopes Peak High! My quirk is Liar, which allows me to lie and people will believe it, whatever the lie I told is becomes a reality. If I get bored, I can just erase the lie, like it never happened.
The fun part is, you can never tell when I'm lying!"

(basically his lies become a reality and he can take back the lie and reverse the effects of it)

"Bullshit." Katsuki snorted. Kokichi looked at him with a blank stare before looking away and smiling again.

"I guess you're right, all of that was a lie!" Kokichi shrugged. "Actually my quirk is being able to make nearby structures implode with a snap of my fingers!"

A few murmurs were heard. Mostly of people saying that the new kid was suspicious or that his "quirk" was awesome.

Kokichi snapped his fingers. A desk imploded on itself. A chorus of gasps were heard and Kaminari flinched. He wasn't good with loud,
scary noises.

"Now to take it all back. It was a lie! Nishishi~" Kokichi giggled as the desk returned to its normal state. "My quirk is weird, it's like an illusion. But only I can see out of it, along with some people that can break out of the trance and don't believe me."

"Excuse me, may I come in now?" A female voice asked from the doorway.

"You may!" Nezu chirped. "Everyone, this is Oyabayashi Hebi. I have to get going now but Mr. Oma take a seat and Ms. Oyabayashi, introduce yourself!"

Everyone said goodbye to the principal as he walked out of their classroom. Aizawa was long gone into the land of sleep, so the class representatives led the class.

"Hello all! Remember me?" Hebi smiled. "I'm the one who found Aminari when he got lost!"

"Oh right!" Uraraka clapped her hands together. "We never got to thank you! Kami, is there anything you want to say?"

"My name is Kaminari, uhm... thank you for helping me out." Kami pushed out, his gaze locked onto his desk.

"You're welcome!" Hebi smiled.

"Isn't he just a sweetheart?" Yaomomo stood and patted Denki's head.

"The sweetest." Hebi said, venom laced in her words that only two people could sense. Izuku and Kami. Izuku caught a whiff of her true nature at the mall and she outright said something in Kami's face. "My quirk's basic, unlike a certain someone's-"

"How mean of you, Hebi." Kokichi whined from behind Midoriya.

"Anyways, my quirk is cat control. It's as basic as the name. I can control cats, but their eyes look just like mine so that's a pain." The cat-eyed teen continued. "That's about it."

"Is that cat in the dorms yours, Hebi?" Mina asked. "Because it's been harassing me and Kami for too long."

"It damn near attacked him!" Bakugo yelled, royally pissed off. "So you're behind that bullshit?"

"Dial it down, Kacchan." Deku warned. "But you should get better control over your animals, if that wasn't purposeful."

"I'm sorry guys! That cat specifically has been causing a lot of trouble lately!" Hebi bowed. "Please forgive me!"

The class kept talking with the new students, Kokichi was somehow making his way into the Bakusquad and Hebi was becoming best friends with just about everyone.

But Kami wasn't worried about those things. He was more worried about how Oyabayashi felt towards him. Was she becoming his two-faced bully? How would he even handle that?

He began to bite the nail on his thumb until his bled, which he felt his eyes water at. He couldn't help but slip right now, he was stressed and scared. A scarred hand pulled his own away from his pouting lips.

"Come on, let's so get you a bandaid." Midoriya smiled, dragging Bakugo along with him. The three of them walked into the hallway, but the atmosphere changed as soon as they made it into the hallway.

"Kami, I know you're slipping, but I need you to stay big for just a second." Deku walked beside the two blondes. "You know that girl is suspicious, don't you?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Wait what's going on?" Bakugo asked with pure confusion.

"Something's up with Hebi. I overheard her at the mall after we got reunited with Kami. She muttered.." Izuku pulled Katsuki's ear down to his level so Kami didn't have to hear.

"The fuck?!" Bakugo nearly ran back into the classroom to beat some ass but was stopped.

"We don't know what she's truly capable of Kat. She doesn't suspect us, so let's keep it that way." Deku warned. As they came up to the nurses office, Deku took Kami's hand. "Come on, let's get you a bandaid."

So Katsuki was left in the hallway to think of a plan.

Who let him try to come up with a plan?
