((more class 1-b tings bc i love writing them))

Shinso was normally level-headed.

But emotions were high for everyone as one conflict ended and the class realized that another one would start once they reported Kaminari's parents to authorities.

Did he get in a fist fight with some random upperclassman who decided to say something disrespectful in passing when him and Kami got back from an outing? Something about "him acting like an idiot just because some girl from his class got expelled"?

Maybe would be the answer.. if it wasn't obvious from the bruised eye and bloody nose.

His regressed boyfriend was in the Class 1-A common room, crying with Monoma and Kendo by his side. He was worried about his Daddy, of course. Seeing him fight someone almost double his size was terrifying.

"Not judging here at all but, we couldn't have done this in our dorm building?" Monoma gained Kendo's attention as he helped soothe Kaminari.

"Oh quit complaining, we're here to help and 1-A has been kind enough to tolerate you for all this time." She sighed in response. "We could move to his dorm if that would make you feel better. It might be better for him as well..."

"Yeah, let's go!" Monoma said, obviously relieved, maybe even more so than Denki. "Want to go watch a movie to calm down a bit till Shinso can come back?"

Kaminari nodded, holding onto Kendo as she enlarged her hand to make picking him up easier. Naturally, he snuggled into her enlarged palm, his eyes fluttering shut.

"Poor guy's probably exhausted from bawling for the past hour..." Monoma sighed, opening the door to Denki's room. "So much for that movie."

"Oh please.. you would've probably fallen asleep anyway." Kendo giggled. "You're like that uncle that goes to the movies and falls asleep during it."

"Wow, you really got me there, my heart is broken into pieces." Monoma gasped, wiping a faux tear from his eye.

"Shush... We're waiting for Shinso to get back now, and I don't want Denki to be up before he comes back."

"Well.. you don't exactly have to worry about that any longer." The aforementioned teenager popped up in the doorway, bandages and a bruise covering his face. There was an extra large bandage on his nose, indicating that it was affected the worse.

"Got a pretty bad beatdown huh?" Monoma sighed. "You could've used your quirk and it all could've been avoided, you could've even made the person act like a monkey in front of his crush or something."

Hitoshi laughed. "I love the idea but.. we both know I wouldn't use my quirk for something petty like that. Anyway! Was he good while I was gone?"

"An angel as always, apart from the damn near violent sobbing." Kendo sighed, stroking Kami's cheek. "He was real worried about you y'know, you.."

Both Monoma and Shinso sighed, realizing what was about to happen.

Kendo was about to give another one of her famous lectures that weren't as annoying as Iida's, but it feels like your mom is talking.

"Kendo! It looks like Monoma's ready to get home! Thank you for watching Denki while I was gone, though!" Shinso threw something together, hoping to get her to be quiet.

"Yes! I am very exhausted and uh... uncomfortable...? When I am in the 1-A dorms!" Monoma nodded, not completely lying but it sounded like he was.

"Sure..." Kendo eyed him, ruffling his hair with her now normal hand. "Alright, let's get back to the dorms, Mr. Copycat."

"Thank you." Monoma groaned as Kendo rolled her eyes. "Later guys."

The two left, the sound of playful bickering filling the air around them.

"D-Daddy..?" A groggy voice spoke, making Hitoshi turn around and see Denki waking up.

"Hey there, baby boy.." The purple haired teen smiled, sitting next to him. Kami immediately laid his head on his daddy's lap.

"Missed 'ou..." He yawned, dozing off comfortably, now that Hitoshi was back with him.

Meanwhile, Hitoshi had a moment to take in the sleeping boy's features. Kaminari's eyes were red and puffy, the poor boy really must've been crying his sweet heart out. His nose was red, he must've had to blow it a lot.

Shinso couldn't help but feel bad. If only he was capable of keeping his temper in check, it could've been avoided. But, he had been stressed recently. Coming to the realization that he couldn't exactly do anything but report Denki's parents.. it was his main stressor.

Even then, after he got into a fight, thoughts about how the interaction might go down plague his mind as he looked down at Kami. Kami didn't deserve to be treated that way, so he knew it bad to be done.

...It's just overwhelming for a teenage boy to handle.

"Shinso, kero?" Tsuyu opened the door, peeking her head through. "You're finally back.."

"Miss me?" He chuckled in response.

"Lilypad's not gonna be happy when he comes out his headspace, kero. He'll probably chew you out worse than I ever could." She sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Does your face feel okay?"

"An ache, every now and then. But other than that, I'm pretty alright. Being back with him makes me feel a whole lot better, if I'm being honest."

"What kind of punishment did you get?" Tsuyu sighed.

"Suspended. For a week." He laughed nervously.

"No house arrest?" Asui asked, almost surprised.

"Nope.. I dunno why, maybe because I didn't use my quirk? It doesn't really matter anyway."

"You know Kami's gonna chew you out any worse than I'm capable of right? That's the entire reason I'm not saying anything, kero." Tsu sighed. "Your folks let you have it though, right?"

"Not yet. They said they'll call me later about it." Shinso gave a sarcastic thumbs up. "So excited..."

"Don't whine about the consequences now." Asui stood. "I'll leave you be, kero."

"Later Tsu. Thanks for checking up on me." Shinso smiled as she nodded and left.

"Now that she's gone..." Kaminari rose, stretching a bit.

"You were awake? For how long?" Toshi asked, genuinely shocked. He had felt him shift a few times, but that's normal, so he thought nothing of it.

"Ever since Tsu came in. Anyway, are you dumb or just stupid?" Kami asked, crossing his arms as Shinso said a silent prayer to himself. "What crossed your mind to do that dumb shit?!-"

"Language."

"Oh shut up! Listen, I'm as dumb as dirt, so one of us has to do good in school! Sorry to break it to you, but that's you! You- no- Everyone has just been emotional around the dorms lately! Why?" Denki asked, his tone getting softer at the end.

"Well.. because we're going to have to report your parents to the authorities at some point, babe." Shinso explained. "It's got everyone stressed."

"What? Report them for what?" Kaminari asked. "T-They.. They aren't doing anything wrong..?"

Shinso paused. His lover's tone was completely genuine and confused, like he wholeheartedly believed what they were doing was right. Either that or he was just a great actor.

He hoped for the latter, because trying to get him to understand would do a lot of damage.
