I jumped up unaware of my surroundings. My head thumped rapidly in my chest. It felt it was going to fly right out of my chest and land on my lap. I knew this would happen. I knew as soon as I got just a sliver of happiness this would happen.
I blinked clearing up my blurred vision. The furniture came into focus and so did the movie on the tv. It was still playing so I hadn't been asleep that long. Movement from both sides of me let me know I had woken up Eric and Daniel.
"What's wrong lil bit?"
"You okay, sugar?"
Their voices were raspy with sleep and if this were any other time it would make me horny as hell. I mean, it still did, but I was too shaken to really care.
"I'm sorry boys. I just had a nightmare." Truth.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
"No. I barely even remember what happened." Lie. "You know what, it's late. I should probably go home before my brothers lose their shit."
"Are you sure, kitten? You can stay if you want."
Why did he have to be so sweet? Either of them. Imma dumb bitch for leaving them right now. They looked like fucking gods. Men like them don't usually go for girls like me and here I am laid up buck nekked with two of my very own. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be in this position. Ironically it was because of a wild dream that I had to leave.
"I'm sure. I just wanna lay in my own bed tonight." Lie. What am I playing, two lies and a truth?
"Ok. I'll go get our clothes out of the dryer. Want me to walk you home?"
The disappointment in both of their faces broke my heart. I wish I could stay but I needed to get away before I fell asleep again and was plagued by my deepest fears.
"No I'll drive. Better to have my car at my actual house."
"I think I should go too. I didn't tell my mom I would be out all night."
"Okay." Eric sounded weird. I wanted to ask why, but he was already gone.
A few minutes later he came back with our clothes. He handed me mine the gave Daniel his. After making sure it was all there he got back into his bed and watched us get dressed. He looked totally spaced out. Something was going through his mind and I hoped he wasn't regretting what just happened. I sure as hell wasn't.
"Tonight was very fun and I enjoyed myself." I went to him giving him a kiss then turned to Daniel and gave him one as well. "I will see you both at school tomorrow okay?"
"Sure."
"Yeah."
The energy in the room was now tense and I hated that I was the reason. When I saw them in the light of day tomorrow I would make sure they knew that I was happy with what happened tonight and that I definitely wanted it to happen again.
