"Fuck me." Eric said.
I was thinking the same thing. When Daniel said he found them a home he didn't explain how beautiful it was. Since it was in the same neighborhood as us it did have a similar structure, but it had a way more modern look to it. Stainless steel counters complimented the soft grey cabinets, white floors and walls. Right now the only thing occupying the space were the few boxes of furniture Daniel had already sent here. Being filthy rich had its perks.
"So you guys know I'm gonna be over here all the time right?" I said.
"Wouldn't have it any other way Lil bit. Now come on. We gotta get the rest of this stuff in."
By stuff he meant everything Eric brought from home and the four things he brought for himself. Everything else he had was brand spanking new. Couches, tables, and even a new bed. Garrett and Derek really did come to help and even Eric's mom who cried while carrying a random box of his things. That woman was sweet as sugar.
"Are you sure you're ready for this, sweet pea?" She asked him.
"C'mon, Ma, I'll be graduating college soon. I really do think it's time for me to be out on my own. Besides I'm only a few minutes away. Weren't you the one pushing me to find a place?"
"I know. But not having you right up under my nose just doesn't sit right with me. I'll try not to invade your new privacy whenever I get lonely."
"We both know you're gonna do it anyway."
"Hush, child."
"There's nothing like a man who loves his momma." Garrett swooned in my ear.
"Get your own momma's boy. That ones taken."
"By who? You?"
"Derek didn't tell you? I thought the three musketeers shared everything. Yes he's mine. So don't expect no late night phone calls, dickhead."
"But he's -"
"Bisexual. Yep and it makes for really great threesomes."
"Ugh. I didn't need to know that." He faked gagged. "Wait. You mean with Daniel? I did not pick up that vibe from him."
"Yeah, Eric has a way of bringing out the best of us."
"Oh, boy." He rolled his eyes and finished bringing in the box he was carrying.
It took us a few hours but we finally brought everything in and set up the necessary furniture. The living room was looking halfway decent with the deep gray velvet couch, loveseat, and coffee table. Daniel said we would finish decorating another day.
When we were alone he gave Eric and I a proper tour of the house. Upstairs were the two bedrooms. The master bedroom would belong to them while the other would be a guest room. Now that things were different they would sleep in the same bed together instead of separately. I felt a small pang of jealousy at them spending so much time together now, but like I said I would be visiting all the time.
