I waited and waited
Forever.
Because I knew.
I knew .
That you were mine.
Mine alone.
I looked at you from a distance.
You were happy
Smiling.
Now i look at you.
You stand here
Broken
Right in front of me.
Where you promised you will be.
Your tired eyes
Have no life in them.
Who broke you i wonder?
I waited for you
Knowing that you'll come back to me.
And you did.
But you are shattered.
Who broke you while i was not looking?
So beautiful
Who pushed you down?
Who pushed you off that cliff?
Or perhaps you fell
You stumbled and fell.
You stumbled while you were standing the edge of that cliff.
You fell into an ocean.
The deep blue that swallows up everything
Like the depths of hell
Now your're back
Back from those depths.
You're shattered
Into pieces
Like a glass figurine.
Once so perfect.
Which fell from my hands
Down to the earth
Shattered into fragments
Now when i touch you
You draw blood.
So beautiful yet broken.
