Dallas laid on her bed playing an album by The Kinks on her record player in her room while she did some of her homework when there was a knock on her door. She waved a hand opening the door still working on her assignment. Scott walked in closing the door behind him before laying by her, dropping his bag on the floor.
Charles had made it to where the two shared most classes so that Scott would adjust better. He looked over her shoulder seeing what she was working on. "Do we have to work on all of this?" Scott questioned making her turn her attention to him.
"Yes." She turns looking at him, resting her chin in her shoulder, looking at him. "Why?"
"Because I don't want to." He said in more of a question, smirking in her direction.
"What are you wanting to do then?"
"Anything but this." He replied taking her pencil and tossing it across the room. Dallas laughed slightly, shaking her head at the boy before picking her pencil up with her mind and bringing it back to herself, out of Scott's reach, and going back to her assignment. "Hey." He says causing her to give him a look.
With that he made a small move, tilting his head and placing a small kiss on her lips. This caught her off guard for a second. Before she could react Scott had pulled away at the sound of knocking at her door. Scott picked one of his books up out of his bag as Dallas blankly opened the door with her hand like she did for Scott, her mind in a jumble. Alex walked in with Jubilee and a tall blue kid at their sides.
"This is Kurt, he's also new. Make friends you two." Alex says toward Dallas and his brother who was still trying to play everything over in his head.
The older Summers brother gave Scott a weird look and the blue boy wave a hand as Dallas stood up from the bed and walked over to the three. She stuck out a hand toward the new kid who accepted it. "Hi, I'm Dallas, that's Scott."
At the sound of his name coming from her mouth he snapped back to reality and finally got up from his spot on Dallas' bed. He stuck out his arm and shook the kids hand like his best friend had done. "Hey."
Dallas, could you have Alex meet me in my office and tell Jubilee to get to class. Charles links to the girl. She nodded before realizing what she did.
"What was that for?" Scott questioned.
"Charles needs Alex and told me to have you go to class." Dallas informed everyone making Alex nod giving them a departing wave before making his way to the office of the Professor. Jubilee turned to walk off but Dallas grabbed her arm.
"I was told to go to class." Jubilee said in a tone that made her friend laugh.
"Yes I know. He said to tell you but he didn't say walk her down there yourself and make sure she stays in class. Besides I have an idea."
"Yay! How long do I have before it's in action?" Jubilee asks.
"Give me fifteen minutes. Kurt your going too." The shorter girl nodded and grabbed the blue boys hand, dragging him off to who knows where.
"What do you have planned?" Scott challenged as she laid back on her bed to finish her assignment.
"You'll see. But I want to finish this really quick I'm almost done." She informs him.
"Oh come on Dali, let's go out."
"You do realize we still have classes, right?" She raised a brow at him.
"I'll help you make up the work, now come on." He tells her leaning over, hands on the bed holding him up, his face close to hers.
"Scott," Dallas breathes at the close proximity between the two. She closed the book and moved it into Scott's bag. She sat on her knees still on her bed and snatched the glasses Hank had made him from his face.
