Dallas and Scott were talking among themselves as Jean and Jubilee watched the interaction between the two and were almost squealing in excitement. Which Scott ended by finding a Boy George album turning around to Jubilee and Jean to show them. "You kind of look like this." Scott says bluntly making Jubilee giggle and Jean's jaw loosen it's slack a bit.

"Dali, get your boyfriend before I throw him into a wall." Jean seethes making Dallas grow red in the face and rip the album from Scott's hand.

"She's not kidding." She directs towards him before looking back at Jean. "You're prettier than him by the way." Dallas waved the album in her hand and it seemed Jubilee might actually die from laughter.

Dallas bought some albums from artists Alex had brought her and they walked out of the store. The other two girls started pulling Kurt in and out of stores, getting him new things. Key tried walking away from Jubilee and Jean but Jubilee pulled him back by his tail. Dallas watched as her new friend became overwhelmed before she looked at Scott who was already watching the scene unfold in front of him.

"Maybe you should take him and I'll distract those two for a while." She suggested, making Scott look down at the sound of her voice.

"Probably for the best, honestly." He nods, quickly kissing the top of her head. "Meet at the food court in an hour?" Dallas nodded and he walked over wrapping an arm around Kurt's shoulders and leading him away from the two girls and walked out of the store with the frazzled boy.

Jubilee saw the exchange between Dallas and Scott and wiggled her brows at her friend. "What was that about?"

"What?" Dallas' face became hot and turned a light shade of pink as she avoided eye contact with her friends.

"You know what I'm talking about, Jameson." Jubilee smiled at her. "What's going on between you and Summers?" She finally challenged.

How exactly was Dallas going to tell her, especially when Dallas herself didn't really know what in the hell was happening between them. "Helping Alex clearly wasn't the first time I've met Scott. However it is the first time in almost ten years that we've seen each other." Dallas started before distancing herself by looking at a blouse that caught her eye.

"So what, you've met Alex's family?" Jean quizzed coming over from another rack of clothes.

"A little more than that. We used to be next door neighbors when I was a kid, before I came to the school. My mom let Alex know that I was different after finding out about him and the Cuba situation. He brought the Professor to my house and my parents basically gave up on me and I've lived at the X-Mansion since then. After my little accident in Europe, I found out that those same people found and killed my family, thinking they were mutants as well." Dallas said looking between the two.

"We didn't know, sorry Dali." Jubilee side hugs her friend while Jean puts a hand on Dallas' shoulder.

"I mean, it doesn't hurt even though I know it should. But after I left Ohio to come to the school, every time Alex went home to visit his mom would always send me things back with him. So I guess they've always been like my family, in a way, even before I left." Dallas finished.

"I get that." Jean nods.

The three of them shopped at a couple of different stores for the remainder of the hour before making their way to the food court. When they got there, they could see people at most of the tables that surrounded the area and finally found a table closer to the back of the room. Dallas sat at a table while Jean and Jubilee went to get slushies so she could search for her connection with Scott. As she sat down her bags by her feet and once she found it, the girls sat in front of her.

We're at the food court towards the back of the room. She sent the younger Summers boy.

Almost there. She heard Scott reply in a rushed tone and shortly after the boys walked over to their table sitting down.

"Everything okay?" She questioned as he sat next to her throwing an arm around the back of her chair and hanging his head.

"Yeah." He nodded just as she looked at Kurt who shook his head just as she caught Scott's fidgeting hand.

"Is it coming back?" Scott shook his head. "Scott, I can feel it you know? That's how I know when it's okay for you to look at me when its gone." Dallas informed the boy next to her quietly trying not to catch the attention of random people nearby. "Can you open your eyes?" Scott shook his head again.

"Not really. It's just starting so it's not bad yet. Do you have my glasses?" Dallas dug around in her bag and handed them to Scott who placed them on the bridge of his nose quickly. "Thanks."

Jean and Jubilee passed out all of the drinks once they noticed everything was okay. Dallas and Kurt got peach, Jean got blue raspberry, Jubilee got mango, and Scott got cherry.

Dallas adjusted her chair, sitting closer to Scott who wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her into his side. From her seat across the table Dallas watched as Kurt tried his drink for the first time. He gave the drink in front of him an impressed expression before downing the entirety of its containments. Almost immediately after he finished his drink, he grips the sides of his head and lets out gasp.

"Ow, something's wrong." He lets out looking between his new friends.

"It's okay, it's just a brain freeze. You'll be okay." Jubilee tried telling him.

"I froze my brain!" Kurt almost yelled.

"Yes." Scott answered, making Dallas slap his stomach.

"No, he's joking. You'll be fine, just calm down." Dallas says trying to get her friend to calm down just as its cold effects were going away, Kurt let out a sigh of relief as it subsided.
