Alex made it to the school from Ohio, getting back from his trip home. Dallas ran to the garage Alex at the door leading into the main hallway, pulling him into a hug. "Missed you." She says into his shoulder.

"You too, kid. Brought you something." He said as they pulled away from their embrace.

He pulled out two vinyl records he had picked out with Scott for the girl. She took them from his hand seeing a new Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin albums. She thanked him and he handed her a bag. She scrunched her brows at him, giving him a confused look.

"What's this?" She asked.

"It's your birthday present from your little boyfriend back home." Alex smiled at the glare Dallas gave him. "No but seriously, it is a birthday present from Scott. I can't believe your 18. Gross. I remember that age."

"I would hope so, your not as old as you think you are Summers." Dallas chuckled. "Tell him thanks for me next time you go, huh?"

"Next time I'm hoping I won't have too since you'll be going with?" Alex tried with a hopeful but small smile.

"Probably not."

"Don't make them the reason you don't go back, kid. Go see Scott and have some fun. Go to the mall, the lake and swim, I don't know but get out of the school apart from missions." Alex states as he walked out of the garage.

She stood there and frowned at her shoes. He was right. She did need to get out of the mansion apart from the missions she keeps herself busy with. While he was gone she went on three. One with Raven that took three days. And then the other two were with Hank.

They figured out that her eyes have started to change when she uses her mutation to find other like them and when she's manipulating a mutation for her own use. And Charles has lined up another one for her if she can get someone older to go with her. Dallas raced after Alex, with the question trying to burn through as she ran down the halls. When she found him, he was talking with Hank and Raven.

"Can you go with me on my next mission since I wore these two out?" She questions him making the other two's jaws drop at her forwardness.

"I can. But I want you to make me a deal." Her shoulders slumped and she let out a groan. "I want you to go with me next time. Talk to them or not, mom will let you stay at the house."

"Okay, fine." She gave in after years of him asking. "I'll go."

"Good." Alex smiled before looking at Dallas. "Go suit up and pack a bag. We're going to be gone for a while."

"You're always so bad at this part." Alex laughed looking at Dallas as she squirmed in her seat.

"I've always been bad at sitting still for too long. This was one reason I drove Hank and Raven crazy when we went together, it was because I can't sit still." She confessed.

"You'll get used to it. Although this one should be quicker but we're not even there yet." He turned his attention back to the road and continued to drive.

When they got to the location Charles and Hank gave them, Dallas had stopped fidgeting in her seat and had an expression on her face that she had dubbed her impression of Alex's 'blue steel'. For this mission, they hadn't gone as far as Poland, just to Dawson, Yukon Territory in Canada. Dallas held out a hand to Alex who gave her a 'what are you doing' look and she just looked at her hand.

"Why do you want my hand?" He asked giving in.

"Mine are cold and yours, because of your mutation, stay warm so unless you want me to take your mutation to warm my hands, please."
