Today was a total nightmare. We had a test which was part of our grade. I had written down all the answers.
Mrs.Slit (that's really her surname) must've been feeling lazy or just mentally kicking herself for marrying someone named Slit so she said "Class give your paper to the person behind you." I turned to give my paper to the person behind me and I froze. It was Drew."Thanks, Chase", the evil witch said.
Oh my god, Drew has my paper. There's no telling what she would with it. Khione was the person in front of me, she turned and gave me her paper. There was a brief moment when her hand accidentally touched mine. She recoiled and started squirting hand sanitizer in her hands. Scenarios started popping as I marked crosses in every answer. The only thing that was correct in Khione's paper was her name and even then she had to cross it out three times. HOW?
"Mrs.Slit", she said with a giggle "Look, page two of Annabeth's paper is completely empty. How dare she?"
"Don't be stupid, Drew. I have written every-" she was correct. The whole page was blank. But I wrote the whole page. I remember each word I wore in my pencil. Oh my God, I wrote all the answers in pencil. Drew must have erased the the whole page. Since I can't prove it to Mrs.Slit, I'll have to just get a B.
"I didn't expect this from you, Annabeth Chase. Just because you are a top student doesn't mean you can get away with not writing answers. I am disappointed in you." Mrs.Slit said frowning.
Drew sneered at me as I blinked back tears. I am going to get a bad grade for something I didn't even do. All the teachers in this school love me but I am sure I can cross Mrs.Slit of that slit.
I walked home alone. Thalia had detention for texting in class and Rachel left early for a dentist appointment.
My phone vibrated as I received a text. It was from Percy. He asked if I could start tutoring him tomorrow. I typed out okay and sent him my address. I smiled.
