Angelina's POV

It was a week later. I actually did film a video with Colby. I came up with the idea to do Would you Rather. I just posted the video yesterday. It was hilarious. Me and Colby made some pretty good memories while filming that video.

Right now it was 5pm in the afternoon. I was laying down on my couch, scrolling through Instagram on my phone. I then got a call. It was from my mom. My mom and I never really had such a good relationship when I was growing up. I answered her to see what she wanted.

"Hello?" I said softly into the phone. "Hello." My mother responded back coldly. "Is everything okay, Mom?" I asked. "Since when do you care about me?" She said rudely. I frowned, knowing exactly where this was going to go. "Mom, you're the one that called me." I said slightly annoyed. "Don't catch an attitude with me, you brat."

She had to be drinking again. That's why we were never close. She always had a drinking problem. And it put mine and Hers relationship into this position. I was only close with my father. I was thankful my Father made me and my younger brother leave our Mom. She wasn't doing us any good. My father still tells me she tries to blame us for everything. "Catching an attitude? You're the one who has one. Like always." I said loudly as I scoffed.

"Listen here, I don't know what you're problem is, but that is why you're worthless. You'll never be nothing. You're just a brat. Now you wonder why I hate you so much. You don't do shit. You'll always be nothing with no one by your side." She said coldly. I teared up. I had no words. I couldn't fight back. No matter how many times she told me that. It always hurts. I hung up on her.

I started to break down. I wish my mom was never a cruel person like this. I wish I had a mom that loved me, that cared for me. I felt weak.

Colby's POV

I was sitting down on my couch, watching a movie. Suddenly someone knocked on my door. I was assuming it was just Sam. I walked over and swung the door open. It was Angelina. It looked like she had been crying. "Angelina, What's wro-", Before I could finish, she attacked me with a hug. She started sobbing into my chest.

"Hey, hey hey. What happened?" I asked her. She looked up at me. Her eyes were pure red. Mascara smudged all over her eyes. I hated seeing her this way. "I-" she began but couldn't finish, she began to sob again. "C'mon, lets go inside." I pulled away from the hug and put my hand on her back, leading her inside as I shut the door.

I walked her over to my couch. We both sat down. She was still sobbing. "Talk to me, Angelina." I whispered softly as she continued to sob. I gave her time to let words come out. She eventually stopped sobbing and spoke. "It was my Mom.." she trailed off. I looked at her with worry. "She called me and told me I was worthless and that I'll never be nothing. She-" Angelina trailed off again from sobs coming back.

I pulled her close to me. Her head on my chest as I held her in my arms. I put one of my hands on top of her head and stroked her hair gently. I knew her and her Mom had issues and never got along. Her mom was no good to Angelina nor her Dad. "You okay?" I asked her, not hearing her sob anymore. She looked up at me. "Yeah, I'm sorry for coming over like this. I just really needed someone." She reassured me.

"You know I'm always Here for You. No need to apologize." I said to her. She pulled away from my arms. "Thank you, Colbs." She said with her eyes still puffy. She smiled slightly. Our eyes met. Her hazel eyes were beautiful. I noticed her breathing got a bit heavy as we starred into each other's eyes. But that stopped once she cleared her throat and looked away.

"Do you mind if I stay here tonight?" She asked softly. I smiled at her. "No not at all, You can stay here anytime you need too." I reassured her. She smiled. "Thank you again, Colby. I really appreciate it. I know my apartment is literally two doors down but I don't want to be alone tonight." She said. "Well, whenever you feel that way, you can always stay with me." I smiled at her. She smiled back.

She quickly ran back over to her apartment to get a change of clothes. We had a little argument about who gets the couch or the bed. "Colby, sleep on your bed." She argued. "No, you take the bed." I argued back. "How about we both just take the bed." I looked up at her, shocked a bit. That means we would be sleeping side by side. "Uh, are you sure?" I asked.

"Only if you want to." She said quietly, putting her head down to look at the ground. "I mean..I wouldn't mind." I reassured her. "Okay, well you coming?" She asked turning around to head to my room. "Oh yeah." I said getting off the couch and heading to my bedroom.

We both got into my bed. I got on the left side as she got on the right. We positioned ourselves to get comfortable. I was laying on my back as she was laying on her side. With her back facing me. "Goodnight, Colbs." Angelina said. "Night." I whispered softly. We both drifted off to sleep.

-

I woke up. It was the middle of the night. I grabbed my phone that was placed on the night stand beside me. I checked the time. 5:09am. Why was I up so early? Then I got this idea in my head. What if I took Angelina up to the Hollywood sigh right now? Since people don't really hike near there until 9 am. I used to go up there all the time, just to clear things off my mind.

I sat up and looked at Angelina. I wanted to wake her. I wanted to take her up to the Hollywood sign badly. I couldn't wait. I was probably going to get killed for waking a female up. They'll literally murder you for waking them up. "Angelina." I whispered as I shook her softly, shaking her a bit. She did not move.

"Angelina, wake up." I shook her again. She groaned a bit. She started fluttering her eyes open. "Colby? Why are you up?" She asked with a raspy voice, still half asleep. "C'mon get up we're going somewhere." I said getting off my bed. "What? What time is it?" She questioned as she sat up slightly. "5:12am" I responded back.

"Why are we gonna go somewhere this early? Where are we going Colby?" She asked. "You'll see if you'd get up." I said back to her as I chuckled a bit. She sighed. "Fine, you're lucky you're my best friend." She said as she got up. I laughed softly. I really wanted to take her up to the Hollywood sign. I didn't care what time it was. Though, I do feel bad for waking her up.
