Chapter 26| Kansas

Angelinas POV

"Are you finished packing?" Colby walked into my room. "Yeah, did you finish?" I asked while putting my suitcase aside. "No, not yet." He said.

"Well, get back to your apartment and finish." I giggled. "Do I have to? Right now?" Colby whined. I sighed. "Yes, Colby. We have to leave tomorrow." I responded. "Fine."

He leaned in and pecked my lips as I pecked his back. Then he left my apartment to go back to his and finish packing.

I was excited to go back to Kansas and see Sam and Colbys family again. The last time I seen them was about 3 years ago. I still remember the day I first met them.

I was also very nervous. I wasn't sure if they'd really approve of me and Colby now being in a relationship. I shook away my thoughts and made sure I had everything packed.

I went back to Colbys with my things. I was going to spend the night with him. Katrina was going to drive us to the airport. We had an early flight.

I was asleep, cuddled up next to Colby when my alarm started going off. I knew it was time to get up for this flight. I groaned and reached for my phone that was placed on his nightstand.

I shut my alarm off. It was 5:00am. We had to be there in at 6:30am. "Colby." I whispered as I shook him lightly. He didn't wake up. "Colby wake up." I shook him a bit hard this time.

He turned around and squinted his eyes open. "What?" He groaned. "We have to get up now." I said getting out bed. "What time is it?" Colby sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"5 am. Now get up." I said. He groaned again and hopped out of bed. I was getting dressed while Colby was in the bathroom doing his business.

I suddenly got a call. I grabbed my phone and checked who it was. It was Sam. "Hello?" I said softly. "Hey, you guys up?" Sam said through the phone. "Yeah, we're getting ready." I replied.

"Okay good, I'll see you guys in a bit." Sam and I hung up the phone. "What was it?" Colby asked, coming out the bathroom. "Oh it was Sam. He wanted to make sure we were awake." I reassured. He just nodded his head.

I walked inside the bathroom so I could do my business now. I just brushed my teeth and washed my face. I threw my hair up in a messy bun.

Colby and I were matching. We were wearing gray sweatpants. He was wearing his pink koala merch hoodie while I wore that one too.

We grabbed our suitcases, going through it, making sure we had everything before we left. "Passport?" I asked Colby. "Yeah." He responded. "Do you have yours?" He asked.

I did have it but I checked again since I was scared of leaving something behind. "I got it." I said softly. "Okay, ready to go?" He asked. I nodded my head.

We headed out the door. Sam was already waiting outside his apartment door. "There you guys are." He said softly. "Where Kat?" I asked. "She's already in the car. She got it started so we can just head on out." He responded.

"My Dad said he's picking us up from the airport once we land." Colby told us. Me and Sam nodded our head in agreement.

We all headed down to the parking garage and hopped inside Sams car. "Hey Kat." I greeted her. She turned her head back to look at me. "Hey! Are you excited to go to Kansas again?" She asked.
