Finally. You were facing the wooden gates of the Water Estate. From the distance, you could hear the river running, the trees rustling with the wind, and Karasutori who had managed to find his way back home without causing a ruckus. Staring at him as he circled around you, you gently pushed the gates and walked towards the ever inviting engawa.
Sitting on the edge, you took your slippers and socks off. Flopping to the tatami floors, you inhaled the familiar scent of wood and bamboo. The wind-chimes swayed with the wind as they created soft sounds that could lull you to sleep at any moment.
Stretching your swore limbs, you stood up and made your way to your room. Supposedly, the trip to the estate would be for one reason. That was to bring your other blade and take it to the Swordsmith Vilage. Letting out a him, the next challenge would be to find a kakushi. Slapping your forehead, you whistled out and Karasutori landed rather roughly onto the tatami floors of your room. Rolling like the rag doll he is, his beak touched the edge of your second blade and he immediately took the memo.
"Kakushi? Or message?" Karasutori cawed.
"Kakushi, please." You requested as you gently caressed his smooth black head. His beady eyes were sparkling so he was in a good mood.
"How soon?"
"The sooner the better."
Nipping on your palm gently, he hopped thrice before heading out to fulfill his duty.
Now that you were alone once more, the feeling of loneliness began to enter. In all honesty, you hated this feeling. Before the Water Pillar entered the estate, you had no problems when it came to the hikikomori lifestyle. Things immediately turned 180 degrees when your little crush decided to tsunami his way in.
Speaking of the Water Pillar, you couldn't help but wonder where he was and how he was doing. Not knowing it, your cheeks began to heat up when you could hear his voice saying your name in your mind. The picture of him being half naked, fresh from the shower, sent butterflies to party in your stomach. Biting your inner lip, you shook out all the unnecessary thoughts your mind suddenly came up with.
But damn it all. You were never not going to deny that he had one hella fine body. And the way his hair was let down? It was enough to make your nosebleed involuntarily. Gods. You cringed at the thought.
"Oh well. It was worth it though..."
"What was worth it, (L/N)-san?"
Startled at the sudden voice, you turned and met with a kakushi. His face was covered by a black and white mask. His brown eyes were saying he was bored and awaited adventures. Lucky for him, you could provide him with just that.
"Fantasies, my dear Kakushi. What's your name?"
"Goto." He introduced himself with a low bow.
"Eh. No need for formalities, Goto." You assured him as you shook your palms. "Can you help me though? I need to go to the Swordsmith Village. If possible, the fastest route one can take."
"The fastest route would take around a day from now. Is that alright?"
Standing up and holding the blue Nichirin blade, you nodded your head and gave him a smile. Already knowing the drill, you took out a handkerchief from your pocket and gave him the go signal to transport you.

Dozing in and out of consciousness, you could feel your body being transferred from one Kakushi to another. Having your sense of sight deprived for a long amount of time was never the best feeling. Your hearing became far more sensitive and each small jump your transporter made caused you to flinch.
