"Do you not like it?" Giyu lowered his head and began to fidget with the hems of your haori. Pale cheeks now tainted with a faint shade of pink. "I assumed you would since you called me that a while ago..."

"I do like it, dumb nut!" Flicking his forehead, your heart melted when he rubbed the area. His face scrunched up like a child. When he opened his eyes, once again, he took your breath away. The lighting in the room caused his dark blue orbs to shift into a Navy to Midnight blue color. "I just didn't think you'd call me that outright..."

Cupping your cheek, you leaned into his touch and kissed his palm. That small action caused him to smile at you tenderly. The way his thumb gently brushed your cheek made you feel as if you were the only one he was seeing at the moment. Well of course, duh, it was only the two of you in the room. His hand slowly found its way to your nape. Pulling you in closer till the both of your foreheads were resting on each other, he let out a sigh.

"I'll train even harder." He began. His gaze now focusing on you. "That way, I can protect you. Let me protect you that way I can prove to you that I deserve you."

Eyes brimming with tears, you were about to grab his haori and pull him into a kiss but a knock in the screen door startled the both of you. Letting go of your cheek, he shifted a few inches away from you and told the person to enter. Hinaki and Nichika entered the room. Each of them bringing a yukata.

"Father has told us to hand these to you." Hinaki said as she placed the yukatas before the two of you.

"He has also asked if you two would prefer to share a room or sleep separately?" Nichika added.

"Damn. Nothing gets passed him..." You uttered to yourself. Looking over at Giyu, you shrugged and gave him control. Whatever response he would give, you would comply. When Giyu chose the former, you were giddy that the possibility of cuddling before snoozing off was high. Then again, your thoughts would have to be kept at bay knowing Sanemi was within the vicinity.

"A doctor was called for as well."Hinaki added. "He shall see you tomorrow."

"Follow us for your rooms." The both of them bowed and closed the screen doors. Waiting for the both of you to prepare. Since both of you barely had any stuff, their wait was short and they found themselves leading you down the hallways not long after.

Now that the both of you were settled in, you flopped on to the futon. Hair sprawled all over the pillow. You had always admired the futon's they had in this manor. It was as if they were an inch thicker than the others. As of the moment, Giyu was still bathing. Telling him to take his sweet time, you took it upon yourself to clean each of your blades.

As you were cleaning his blade, a knock made itself present. The screen door slid open only to be greeted by one of the private kakushi's that served the family. In his hands was a tray of food. Not wanting to trouble the boy any further, you stood up and took the tray from him. Giving him your thanks, he closed the door for you as you set the food on the small table near the window.

By the time you finished arranging the food, Giyu stepped out of the bath and walked towards you. Your back still facing him as you set aside the tray. Hearing his footsteps, you turned around and met his stare. Your throat parched when you saw his yukata exposing his toned torso. The bandage peaking from his abdomen only added to the thirst you had been feeling. Forcing your eyes to go up, you began to feel heat rising to your cheeks.

Patting the area next to you, he sat down and winced a tiny bit. Holding on to his abdomen, he checked to see if the bandage had any blood. Luckily there was none and you had your head facing the food and not at him.

"Foods ready, do you wanna eat now?"

Agreeing, you handed him the bowl of rice and chopsticks. The feeling of his fingers brushing against yours was causing your mind to go places. Green places. Shaking your head, you grabbed your share and began eating. It was relatively peaceful save for the sudden intrusion of your perverse thoughts. Wherever they came from, you weren't sure.
