I stare at the dinner I prepared for Jughead nervously. A few hours ago we got into a huge fight about his mother, and now I couldn't stop playing with my fingers as my nerves get the best of me.

"Stupid," I mutter to myself.

I take a look around Jughead's glorious apartment.

You don't belong here!

I stand up grabbing my coat. As I slide my hands through the soft material I chew on my lip. I walk down the stairs greeted by Jughead's driver.

"Going out, Miss Cooper?" He says walking up to me.

"Uh, yes," I scratch the back of my neck.

"Would you like me to drive you?" He gives me a soft smile.

"Yes, that would be lovely," I smile back following him towards the car.

"So, where would you like to go?" He opens the door.

I crawl in waiting for him to slide into the drivers seat.

"Can we just... drive around?" I bite the inside of my cheek looking at him.

"Of course, Miss Cooper," he turns around, starting the car

"Betty, call me Betty," I lean back into the seat with a content sigh.

Before I know it I'm back at Jughead's building, I quietly slip off my shoes walking into the kitchen to find all the dishes cleaned and put away neatly.

He's home.

"I was wondering when you where going to come home," the light switches on making me turn around. "It's almost midnight."

"Yeah, well I waited until ten for you to come home. I made dinner and I was going to apologize!" I hiss at him.

I attempt to move past him but he grabs onto my arm pulling me closer towards him.

"So you weren't going to accuse me of more bullshit," his eyes flash with anger.

I pull my arm any looking up at him.

"I was thinking how I didn't belong here, or at that ball," I look at my hands.

"What are you saying?" He mumbles, still clearly mad at me.

"I'm going back home, to Riverdale," I toss my hands up, annoyed that he didn't catch on to what I was saying.

"The fuck you are!" He bosses grabbing on to my shoulders shaking me lightly.

"You may be my Daddy, but you can't stop me from doing this. Anyways I think spending a little bit of time away from each other will be good for us."

He looks at me loosening his grip on my shoulders.

"I'm sorry-," he makes a move to pull me closer but I push him away shaking my head.

"Please, Jughead," I look up at his eyes pleading.

He pulls away nodding his head.

"So wait, you've been back for a week but you've keep dodging him?" Cheryl asks confused.

I recently got back from my brothers wedding that lasted for a few weeks.

"Yeah," I groan, slouching into the couch.

"Do you think you love with him?" She asks making me sit up.

"No!" I shout sitting up immediately. "We've barely been dating for a month!"

"Hey, don't get all mad at me. You've known him for how long and you officially started dating a little while after you met," Cheryl says annoyed with me. "There's nothing wrong with loving him, Elizabeth."

"Yes there is!" I stand up pacing around.

"Jughead isn't going to hurt you like he did, he doesn't abuse women does he?"

"No," I mumble.

"And how many times did he call you when you were away at your brothers, wedding?"

"More then ten times," I sigh hating how she's right.

"You if I didn't know better, it sounds like he loves you Betty," Cheryl says sassily.

"He can't love me!" I yell into the phone panicking.

"And why not," she says angrily.

"Because I can't love him back," I mumble  fidgeting.

"Like hell. Betty, you need to talk to him, tell him how you feel. And if your reading tell him what happened," Cheryl says. "Toni is waiting for me, I'll call you soon, love you. Bye."

I toss my phone on the couch next to me running my hands through my hair. I slip on my shoes walking towards Jughead's house. I knock on his door staring down at my chipping nail polish that I got specifically for the wedding. The door opens and I wait for the yelling to start. Instead I feel arms wrap around me pulling me into a tight hug.

"I-," I begin to say but Jughead shushes me holding onto me tighter.

He pulls me in closing the door behind us. He brings me to his couch making me sit down.

"I-," he shushes me again pulling me close.

"Not right now," he mumbles into my hair.

We sat there content with just each other.
