Behind the door
She laid on the floor
Blue and purple her skin stayed
She tried to sit up but she failed
As he said she must pay for her mistakes
It was that time of day for her to eat
But she could barely feel her feet
To tired to stayed, to beaten up
So she stayed in her room awaiting her doom
Looking out at the sky
As the birds fly by
With the words in her head she was certain she would be better off dead
As worthless, ugly, slut, and whore ring in her head because those are the thing's that he said
So with every new cut comes every name
And everyday seemed like the same
Some days she wished it was a scary dream
And she would wake up with a pretty ordinary life
But she knew her dreams were necessary even if they were silly little things
So maybe one day she will sprout wings, fly away and be free like those birds
But untill then she will always have that doubt that she won't make it out.~shy
