"Alright Serpents, it's battle time!" Sumiye/Levy clapped her hands to get everyone's attention around them as she stood next to Amaya/Juvia and Koemi/Lucy, "who's brave enough to try and beat us for a spot on this year's Grand Magic Games team?" She asked excitedly, hoping someone would stand up to her and her friends, the three of them loved showing off their power.. especially when it was to cream someone from their guild.

However, the guild today stayed silent as no one offered themselves up to try and beat one of the guilds S class mages.. knowing they'd get creamed no matter who they went up against, it was just common knowledge now that if you even tried to fight one of them, you better have a prepaid grave ready for afterwards.

Koemi/Lucy looked around disappointedly, "Come on guys, why no takers?" She asked using telepathy to speak, "we need some people to fight us to see who'll join us in this year's GMG." She told them with a frown, the guild looked amongst themselves for a second but there were still no takers on who would try and fight them.

Amaya/Juvia put her hands on her hips, "if we have no volunteers we'll start getting some volun-told." She threatened, "we will get the name hat." She said as it appeared on the table next to them, the guild looked at it with anticipation.. it was a pretty low chance anyone would get called from it.. but there was still a chance that their name would be drawn..

After a few more seconds of silence Amaya/Juvia picked up the hat and reached her hand in, when she took out a piece of paper she smiled as she read it off, "first contender, of seven, is Pria Lycan." She smiled sweetly as a girl with light pink hair and eyes groaned loudly from one of the tables as she stood up and waited next to Lucy, Levy, and Juvia.

"You got this Pria." Her brother, Lake, tried to say encouragingly.. but even he knew his sister had no chance.

Suyime/Levy reached her hand into the hat and drew two names at once, she ran her fingers over the paper before nodding her head, "the second and third contenders are Holden Sakura and Claire Jaq." She smiled sweetly as two more loud groans sounded off from the new contenders, before they unwillingly walked up to join Pria next to the girls.

Koemi/Lucy was next as she drew two names as well, "your fourth and fifth competitors are Xavier Lee and Max Sakura." She said through her telepathy, Xavier did a loud sigh of defeat as he and Max joined the band of contenders waiting to be defeated.

Amaya/Juvia drew the final competitors names, "and finally, the last two who will fight with them are Gabriel Clove and Lake Lycan." She smiled, both Lake and Gabriel tried to run away, but were quickly stopped by Lucy's use of her telekinesis to put them next to the other competitors at their side, "good luck, you'll all need it." Amaya/Juvia told them before she, Levy, and Lucy all turned and walked away to get ready for the fight.

Thirty minutes later, the entire guild was rounded up to see their S class mages demonstration of power against the seven mages drawn from the cursed name hat..

The girls smiled sweetly as they stood opposite of their 'enemies', "the last two standing will get a place on our GMG team, the other five will make up a second one." Sumiye/Levy told them as the seven nodded, understanding, "on your marks.. get set.. go." She whispered and immediately they all jumped into battle.

"Iron rock wall!" Lake yelled as his rock wall shot towards the three mages, "this'll slow them down!" He said confidently, much too confident for his own good.

"Aerial shot." Amaya/Juvia mused as her air spell whirled towards his wall and sent it shattering on impact, "air bomber." She sent another attack towards Lake, and he watched in horror as it almost collided directly with him.

"Gravity change!" Pria yelled as she used her magic to get Lake out of the way of the attack just in time, "you've gotta watch out." She told him seriously.

"The both of you do." Sumiye/Levy laughed, "Doll attack: rock doll." She yelled as Lake's rock wall suddenly formed into a 'doll', it looked around a little bit before setting its eyes on Lake and Pria, it let out a large growl that sent dust and rocks flying everywhere before it picked up the siblings and sent them flying out of the arena.

"Two down, three to go." Sumiye/Levy said proudly before turning back to the fight.

"Multi-angle Acid!" Xavier yelled as he shot the spell at Koemi/Lucy, she laughed slightly as the attack went around her.

"Dispel." She mumbled, "Rupture." She smiled sweetly as Xavier's face went pale, he felt the magic inside of him start to swell and pressurize.. then he heard a small pop as it exploded, sending him flying back and out of the arena to join Lake and Pria.

"That's three down now, only two more." Koemi/Lucy added through telepathy as she turned back to battle, "let's see who the last two standing will be." She smirked.

"Piercing bullet!" Holden yelled as he aimed for Amaya/Juvia, the bullet caught her off guard as it went through her arm, "explosion bullet!" He yelled again and shot it at her once more, this time she was more alert and ready to retaliate.

"Storm shred." Amaya/Juvia attacked back, sending piercing wind towards his spells and dispelling them by doing so, "dark tornado!" She yelled again, the wind picking up again and again until Holden was caught up in the tornado.

"Holden!" Max yelled as she tried to save her brother, only for her to also be caught up in the tornado as well.. and causing them to be quickly thrown out of the arena like the three others before them.

Claire and Gabriel exchanged worried looks now that it was only down to the two of them to fight of the S class mages.

But instead of fighting, the girls started to clap for the two, "congratulations Claire and Gabriel, you both will be on our team for the Grand Magic Games." Amaya/Juvia told them, they stared at them wide eyed for a second before breathing a long sigh of relief that they wouldn't be thrown out of the arena like the others were.

"The other five will make up our B team." Sumiye/Levy told them, "it's a good thing we got this figured out now, the games do start in three days." She reminded them, as if they had forgotten that though.. they were reminded every single day by the girls they were now competing with!

Levy, Juvia, and Lucy walked away as their guild congratulated those who would be competing in the games.. and reminding them about all the guilds they would most likely have to fight in the games..
