Lucy was looking out towards the city from their inn's balcony, she was watching the people on the streets enjoying their lives while she was just trying to ignore Juvia's and Levy's argument that was currently happening inside the inn room. Their guild mates were out and about, actually enjoying the sights of Crocus, unlike them.. but Lucy doubted she'd be able to enjoy Crocus very much knowing that somewhere in this city.. a friend of Fairy Tail was aware of their identities.. which was actually the topic of the argument that Levy and Juvia were having.

Levy paced the room as she kept bumping into  the chairs and beds, not even trying to avoid them, "Rogue knows our secret! He knows who we really are!" She yelled, loud enough for all of Fiore to hear her, "if he tells Fairy Tail then everything we've worked for these past few years is all down the drain!" She told them, acting as if they weren't already aware of that themselves! They knew just as much as Levy did that if Rogue blabbered.. everything would be ruined.

"Then we just have to hope Rogue doesn't tell them!" Juvia yelled back, rubbing the sides of her head to try and calm a headache from all the yelling.. which Lucy didn't fully understand how she could be getting a headache if she couldn't hear the yelling.. but she decided not to bring that up right now..

"Rogue may be annoying by figuring us out.. but I think he's smart enough to know we've been hiding for a reason." Juvia pointed out, for probably the fifth time that argument.. or the sixth? Lucy had stopped counting after the third time if she was being honest.

Levy sighed as she nodded, "I know that but.. I'm still just scared." She told them truthfully as she sat down on one of the beds, "plus, did you see how they looked at us..? Like we were.. like we're.."

"Monsters?" Lucy finished as she turned around, "good. Let them think that." She smirked as Levy and Juvia looked at her strangely, waiting for an explanation to her wanting her old friends to think of them as monsters.

Lucy sighed, or the closest thing she could get to a sigh through her telepathy, "if they're scared of us, hate us even, that gives us an advantage." She told them like it was basic knowledge, "their emotions will cloud their judgement during the games. And we'll come out on top, easily." She explained to them, Juvia's eyes lit up in realization while Levy smirked at the idea.. if they couldn't think straight then they'd have trouble in the games, it would be Midnight Serpents advantage!

"It's our secret advantage!" Juvia said excitedly as she clapped her hands, "they won't see it coming!" She laughed, but it was cut short when she sensed something.. she looked towards the corner of their inn room with a furrow of her brow. Levy and Lucy stood behind her as they examined the corner.. they could sense magical energy but it seemed like nothing was there..

"What secret advantage?" A voice rang out from the corner of their inn room, Levy and Lucy jumped back in shock at the voice, but then Juvia jumped back when she saw Rogue come out of the shadows, "hello ladies." He did a short wave as he looked around the room, making sure it was only the three of them from their guild.

Lucy immediately shut the screen door to the balcony and locked the ones leading outside the room, Levy drew the curtains closed and Juvia summoned her magic quickly as a scare tactic.. which only caused Rogue to laugh as he walked over and sat on a bed like he owned the place.

"It's been awhile, Lucy." Rogue said as he pointed to her, "Juvia." He said doing the same to her, "and Levy." He laughed softly as he saw the angry/shocked expressions on the girls faces, why the heck was he here at their inn room so close to midnight?

Lucy frowned as she used her telekinesis to lift Rogue up and off the bed, "Rogue Cheney.. you weren't supposed to be so nosy." She told him seriously as the other girls nodded in agreement, "and you definitely shouldn't be here right now.. why are you here?" She questioned.
