Were moving.....

Dustin knows, but he's okay with it. I have no idea how!

My friends, my mom, my life!

"Dad!"

"Callie we're not talking about this anymore."

"My life is here!"

"Your life will continue in New York, I promise."

"NEW YORK!!!!"

"Yes, Callie."

"No way am I moving across the country!"

"You don't really get a say in this Callie."

"Why not?!"

"Stop yelling."

"Dad!"

"Callie." His voice in a warning tone.

I stomped to my room and slammed the door.

I can't be moving....

We only have until the divorce is final.

Three short weeks.

.
.
.

"Callie dinner!" Dad yelled from the kitchen.

One look in the mirror told me I was better off in my room.

I had been in my room crying for two hours.

My make up was all over my face and my hair was a mess.

Dad opened the door.

"Get out!" I snapped.

"Callie stop being a brat."

"I'm moving in with mom!"

"You can't."

"Why not? She's my mom!!"

"Callie, enough."

"I'm staying in Cali-"

"Callie Anne Lynch! I'm not telling you again."

I stomped off to my bathroom, but before I could close the door dad grabbed my arm.

"Let me go!"

"Keep this up and I will make sure you never see your mother again." He left me go and walked off.

"I HATE YOU!"

I slammed the bathroom door.

.

.

.

Dad put some food on my desk when I got out of the shower.

I was still raging mad at him for saying I couldn't see my mom anymore.

"Callie" There was a knock on my door.

I pulled one of dad's shirts over my head.

"What?"

Dustin came in.

"Why are you upset about moving?" He asked sitting on my bed.

"My friends are here!"

"Don't yell at me I just asked..."

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

"I have a boyfriend... I have to leave him behind."

I was silent.

"It'll get better sis, just wait." He kissed my cheek and rubbed some if the eye liner that was still under my eyes.

I leaned against him.

"What about mom?"

"She's be okay."

"Why are we moving to New York anyway?"

He shrugged. "Something new?"

.

.

.

Me and Dustin made ice cream Sundays. We were watching cartoons on the couch.

"Where's dad?"

"Out."

"Thanks smartass."

"Callie!" Dad walked in.

Perfect timing.... (scarcastic)

"Sorry."

He rolled his eyes and plopped down next to Dustin.

"Where'd you go?"

"Out."

"Smartass."

"Your welcome."

"You'll never change will you?" A girl spoke up.

"Who are you?" I spoke up.

"My sister."

"That doesn't look like Del..."

"Wrong parents."

"They had more kids?"

"They adopted her after me." He shrugged.

We talked until Dustin went to him room, to FaceTime his boyfriend.

Dad took his sister home, I laid in dad's bed.

It's so big and soft.

I pulled the warm covers over myself and started falling asleep.

The door opened, I heard a soft laugh and shuffling before the bed dipped down.
