This one is SUPER long and it's not really like Aziraphale x Crowley or anything it was just something I really wanted to write because I found it interesting.

TW: Cussing

"Ashtoreth, check this out!"

Ashtoreth- one of the first angels to be created. Angels had only recently started getting assigned bodies, and when it came Ashtoreths turn to choose they picked one that they thought would suit them well. It was quite a slender body, but the real reason the young angel had selected it was because of the thick locks of curly strawberry-blonde hair that cascaded down almost to their waist.

Plus, Ashtoreth had fallen in love with the wings the moment they saw them. Yes, all angels have some variation of white and gold wings. But, these wings were so pristine white that they appeared to sparkle when the sun hit them just right.

Before Ashtoreth even had time to look up from their work, a book was shoved across the desk, scattering papers everywhere.

"Aziraphale, I was working," They sneered, trying to rearrange the pages of documents.

Aziraphale's face dropped. "Oh, sorry. I just wanted to show you what I found! Plus, I thought you would be free. You don't always do the work they give us..."

Ashtoreth rolled their eyes. "I don't want to spend my days reading about something that hasn't been made yet- like, humanity? What does that even mean? But, The Almighty has been getting on me about turning in my work. She says I have to study so I can potentially be one of the first angels sent to Earth-"

"I want to go!" Aziraphale grinned, his eyes lighting up with the thought of getting to interact with humans. "I think it would be great fun and I always get good marks on my reports- but... that's not what I'm here about," he chuckled.

Aziraphale, unlike Ashtoreth, had become obsessed with the idea of humans. He had decided that he wanted to be male, which was a type of human. He also became determined that he was going to be the first angel there, and Ashtoreth agreed. Aziraphale did get good marks and he seemed to be friendly to everyone he came across.

Ashtoreth began to admire the book that had been rudely plopped down in front of them. It was a deep red with gold lettering that spelled out Eden.

"What is this?" Ashtoreth asked, looking up at Aziraphale.

"It's the plan for humanity! I got permission to go into the restricted section of the library and I thought this looked intriguing, so I picked it up. Look at how colourful Earth is!" Aziraphale exclaimed, reaching over and flipping open the book to a page somewhere in the middle.

Before reading the page, Ashtoreth searched the room around them. Angels didn't have to sleep, but they did have to do reports. Each angel was assigned a workroom to share with a few others. Every angel got their own desk, bookcase and a chest of drawers for filing and keeping personal items. The room was empty of any company, so Ashtoreth returned their attention to Aziraphale.

"Are you allowed to have this out?"

Aziraphale's face wrinkled in confusion. "Since when do you care if we're allowed to do something?"

Ashtoreth lightly shrugged their shoulders and looked down at the drawings on the page. There was a picture of a large green garden, surrounded by thick stone walls.

"That's where the first humans are going to go," Aziraphale shook his hands around in excitement.

A heavy knock came from the doorway. Ashtoreth looked up and saw a small group of angels, crowding in the doorframe to the room.
