Misty's Recap

Misty turns a corner going into the nearest store. Once she comes into it, the store owner from before comes up to her with a broom and an angry face.

Store Owner: "You again!"

Misty: "Ah, wait! Please, you gotta help me!"

Store Owner: "Why should I help you? You're a theft! You stole from my store many times!"

Misty: "I know and I'm sorry. It was wrong of me, but I really needed the food to survive. I promise I'll make it up to you."

Store Owner: "I'm listening."

Misty: "How about I work for you to earn back all the money I cost you from stealing."

Store Owner: "Hmmm, let me think about it."

Misty turns her head at the entrance of the store and she can see the thieves outside looking for her. She then turns back to the store owner in fear.

Misty: "Please hurry up!

Store Owner: "Alright then, I'll take your offer. What do you need?"

The thieves then turn to look at the store and make there way into it where they came up to the store owner.

Theft 1: "Hey!"

Store Owner: "Welcome to my store, how may I help you?"

Theft 1: Have you seen a black and white kitten? We're looking for her."

Store Owner: "Nope, no black, and white kitten here."

Theft 1: "Are you sure?"

Store Owner: "Very. Would you like to buy a few things?"

The same mysterious guy comes up from behind the theft and pushes him to the side coming up to the store owner's face.

Mysterious Guy: "Sorry, but we're in a hurry. And we have no time to lose."

The store owner then starts to get a bit uneasy when he sees the mysterious guy. He then starts to sweat.

Mysterious Guy: "I have a feeling there's something you might want to say. Maybe you might know where that kitten is?"

Store Owner: "W-what are y-you t-t-talking about? There's no kit-kitten here?"

Mysterious Guy: "You obviously don't know who I am. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm El Gato Receptor, The Cat Catcher. And I can tell when someone is telling a lie. And I feel like you're lying to me. And I hate it when people lie to me."

The cat catcher brings up a very sharp sword to the store owner's face.

The Cat Catcher: "Now, I'm gonna ask again. And you better tell the truth. Where...is...that...kitten...?"

Thye store owner sweats rapidly and starts shakes violently. He says nothing for a few minutes until...

Store Owner: "RUN KITTEN! RUN!"

Misty then jumps up from behind the desk and dashes out of the store passing between the cat catcher's legs and the other thieves legs as well. The cat catcher turns around and then points his sword at the direction Misty ran from.

The Cat Catcher: "BRING ME THAT KITTEN!"

The five thieves then after Misty once again. The cat catcher turns back to look at the store owner with a threatening look. The store owner shrugs and gives a nervous before he turns around and runs out of the store to catch up with Misty. As Misty runs back into the direction of the San Ricardo orphanage.

Misty: "I have to warn Puss. I can't let those thieves and that cat catcher get him. I- wait. Why do I care? I mean, I don't think of him as a dad after what he's done to me. So, why should I care?"
