It was room temperature when I woke up. I had no idea what time it was. The tears had dried from my face. My cloths smelled like mildew from yesterday's rain. My cloths were still moist. I stretched and walked up the stairwell. I looked at Isaiah for about 10 minutes. I knew this would be the last time I would see him. I walked outside. I yawned. I still had cold in my eye. I didn't bother wiping it out. Who did I need to impress? I already knew I looked a mess. I checked my two front pockets for change. I had exactly $6.75. "What can I buy with this" I thought. I looked around at my surroundings. There were barely no common stores. I saw a convenience store. It was across the street from where I was standing. The light was red. I didn't care though. I ran across. All I heard was car horns beeping at me. I didn't care. I walked into the store. I ran straight to the 'snacks' aisle. I picked up a bag of potato chips. Just to last me until tomorrow. I payed the man at the register. "Your total is $2.67" I gave him my balled up $5.00 bill. "Thanks" I said. I began to walk out the door, but the man yelled out " Wait, miss! Sorry to bother you, but is everthing ok?" . "Yes." I say with a grin. Not very much of a happy grin. "Do you have a number I can jolt down?" . "Well I don't even know your name. Why don't you introduce yourself? " I say with a bit of confidence.
