We approach to his apartment. It looks small. He unlocks the door and we both walk in. His house is amazing. It's clean, warm, and cozy. I just want to kick my shoes off and watch a movie. "Sooo Alexis, are you in school?" John asks me. "No." I say honestly. "Really? Why not? You seem so smart" John says with Alot of expression in his voice. I ignored his remark and sat on his brown, dull sofa. "Why aren't you in school" John asked me. I couldn't ignore this question. That'd be rude. "I just don't like it. I dropped out." I said. I really didn't. I go to school but not as often. "Wow. Thats sad to hear. Well Im graduating this year." John tells me. "That's good" I say. "What do you like to eat? Pizza? Hamburgers? " John asks me politely. "It really doesn't matter to me. Whatever you prefer." I say, even though I would love a good, juicy hamburger right now. I guess he ignored my remark and read my mind. He took out hamburgers. 'Yes!' I said in my head. John walked over towards me and sat next to me. "Sorry I don't have a tv." John says. "Oh no, it's fine. Im use to it." I say. "Alexis. Your beautiful. Your smart. I don't know why you would drop out so early." John told me. He looked as though if he was sad. I looked down. "I know. I just don't find school interesting. " . " It doesn't matter. You won't find nothing educational interesting. You only have two more years until you graduate. Just two. Go back to school! Just go. No matter what people say" he glanced at me and smiled. "I'll think about it." I say. I was being honest. I really will think about it.
