It was still dim in the cell when I woke up. I was hungry and I had a headache. I felt like I was going to pass out. I looked down at the bottom bunk. Amber wasn't there. 'Where is she?' I ask myself. I hear the door unlock. A Caucasian woman opens the door. "Follow me. " she says to me. I didn't feel like getting up, but I had to. She walked me into this empty room with just a bright light. "Have a seat" she told me. I sat down. "So tell me why you ran away?" She ask me. "Because I didnt want to be in there" I told her. I was serious. I really didn't want to be in there. "Well why didn't you tell one of the manager's. Im sure they've would've helped you." She said. She looked me dead in my eye. 'What should I say?'. "Well look where you are now. Prison. You made a bad decision. Now, are you enrolled in school?" She asked me. 'Should I lie about this?'. "Yes." I told her. "So you go everyday, correct?" . "No. Sometimes." I told her. Tears startled up again. I tried to hold them back but I just couldn't. "Well, somebody's here waiting for you. So follow me and then I'll dismiss you from there. " she told me with a serious look on her face. I am excited. I know it's John waiting for me. I walk into the main room. I see a familiar face. He walks up to me. Its Isaiah. "Alexis. Im very disappointed in you. Why would you do such a thing?" He asks me. I shrugged. "You guys can be dismissed." The African-American lady told us. We walked out the front door. We walked down the street of John's job. "So where do you want to go?" Isaiah asks me. "I'll just go with a friend of mine." I say. "You don't want to go to the subway?". "No. Im fine. Thanks for bailing me out" I say to him. "No problem. Just visit me when you need to." He says as I walk away.
