Jayde's POV

-1 Month Later-

Monse and Cesar broke up and Monse moved to Brentwood to live with her mom. And Cesar decided to go stay with Jamal

"Mario!" I say in a cheery voice as I walk into the bodega and my eyes fall on Oscar and Mario

"Luigi!" He says calling me by the nickname he gave me before engulfing me in a hug and lifting me off of the ground

"I heard the news congratulations, dad." I say with a big smile as he places me back in the floor and I pull my tshirt dress back down as I feel Oscar's eyes on me

"You're not the only one with good news. I heard you and Spooky are gettin married, Congrats." He says with a big smile

"Thanks." I say with a small smile

"And uh, how are you? I mean after..." He says trailing off

"Wanna see it?" I ask before pulling my shirt down a small amount revealing my gunshot wound

"Gross." Mario says with a laugh

"Baby mama cravings?" Oscar asks as he points to the boat load of sweet treats that Mario is buying

"Uh, nah, these are for Ruby." Mario says causing Oscar and I to laugh before I walk over and stand next to Oscar

"We go live now to Maria Sanchz with an update on the Freeridge robbery." The radio says

"Enciéndelo." Oscar says to the clerk as he tosses his arm over my shoulders and the clerk turns the radio up

(Turn it up.)

"Police have tracked down a stolen and abandoned vehicle used by the bank robbers. The LAPD is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects who are still at large." The radio says before I leave Oscar's side and walk over to the drink coolers before grabbing a stawberry kiwi Arizona

I walk back up to the counter only to see that Mario is gone

"I gotta go see Ruby." Oscar says as he takes my Arizona before paying for it

"Hey, I coulda paid for that." I say before he looks down at me

"Que llevas puesto?" He whispers in my ear

(What're you wearing?)

"Uh, a dress." I say with a confused look on my face as I grab my drink off of the counter

"Es corto." He says as we walk out of the bodega

(It's Short.)

"So." I say as we reach his car and he takes my drink and tosses it in the passenger seat along with his beers

He pushes me against the side of his car aggresivley

"Entonces, te llevaré a casa y te cambiarás antes de la fiesta." He whispers in my ear

(So, I'm taking you home and you're changing before the party.)

"No, I'm not." I say with a mischevious grin

"Cambiar o te arrepentirás más tarde." He says before opening the passenger door for me

(Change or you'll regret it later.)

"Yeah, okay." I say sarcastically with a small laugh as I get in the passenger seat of his car

*3 Hours Later*

"Spooky, spooky, spooky!" Everyone cheers as I walk into Oscar's backyard

"Yo. I didn't wanna come tonight. But Spooky made me come." Ruby says into the microphone

"Ohhh." Everyone says as I let out a small laugh

"And now I feel great! Like a new man. Thank you, Spooky." Ruby says

"Oh! I also wanna give a shout-out to my big brother, Mario. I love you!" Ruby says as I look to my right and see Mario with his arm around Angelica's shoulders

"I love you!" Mario says

"And thank you for making me an uncle in the next couple of months!" Ruby says

"Whoo!" Everyone says

"You're gonna have a baby?" Angelica asks as she pushes Mario off of her

"Yeah, I'm gonna be a dad." Mario says before Angelica slaps him across the face

"Ohh." Everyone says

"Damn!" I hear Oscar say

"Oh, uh, a-a-a-anyways, uh, I've been in a really dark place. But tonight, yo, you guys, you've shown me the light. And I wanna give something back. DJ! Spin that shit!" Ruby says as he locks eyes with me

"Yeah!" Everyone says

"And there's my pretty ass best friend!" Ruby yells as he points at me causing everyone to stare at me before a beat starts and I see Oscar walk towards me angrily

"I'm like four foot eleven I nearly went to heaven. But God said it wasn't my time. Sent me back to spit this rhyme! Jayde was in a coma but god said she gotta get her diploma." Ruby raps as Oscar grabs my wrist and pulls me into the house

"I told you to change." He says lowly

"And as you can see I didn't listen." I say as I lean my back against the wall

"Let's get one thing straight." Oscar says as he steps even closer to me

"Eres mía y cuando te pones así, los chicos verán lo que es mío." Oscar whispers in my ear

(You are mine and when you wear shit like this, guys will see what is mine.)

"Ellos van a mirarme el culo." He whispers as he grips my ass

(They're gonna look at my ass.)

"Oscar." I say with a small smile

"What?" He asks as he locks eyes with me

"Even without the ring I'm still yours." I say before he connects his lips with mine

"Spooky." Someone calls as the backdoor opens

"What, fool?" Spooky asks as he pulls his lips from mine

"We gonna go roll up on the Prophets. You comin?" A santo asks

"Yeah." Oscar says before the santo walks away

"What about the truce?" I ask

"Guess it's over." He replies with a small laugh

"When I get back.." He says trailling off as he leans in next to my ear

"Será mejor que estés desnuda en tu cama." He whispers in my ear before walking out of the back door
