Delysha

I don't how and why am doing this. But it seems that I am going to the birthday less college party. With Bella. Yes, Bella.
This is how she and her group wants to apologize for their washroom behaviour. And guess what, they really convinced me.
I hope this isn't a prank anymore and they genuinely wanna be friends with me.

Now, the birthday party is just across the street and my bio Mom knows about the guy and his family. They are called Smiths. I guess that the guy's name is Frank. And think that it would have been better if his parents have named him Simon. Like, you will call him Simon Smith. Funny. Okay not so funny!

Well, there's another problem though. I haven't met this Smith guy in person. Or seen him which makes me wanna sleep in my bed and watch Netflix. But I can't!As my mother knows about my plans by now and she is really excited about it. She thinks that this is what I used to do in America. I wish that I could tell her that at the time of doing parties I was stuck on a hospital bed but, never mind. At least she is trying which is good.

Smith House

I think that people here are really rich. Not just rich, but kind of super ones. Like the house is full of white marble representing a replica of Taj Mahal yes of course the architecture is different but the marbles in the outer part of the house is same. They have a huge garden were the party is arranged with lots of stylish people around.
Style, well this people do know good things about style but in a overstatement.

'Hey, Delysha. You are late.' I hear Bella standing in here black one-piece which looks like a swimsuit with a fairly handsome guy.

'Yeah, was figuring out the place' I say moving quickly towards her.

'Well this is Frank. The birthday guy.' she giggles and at that point I know that she is drunk enough to cause a problem. So, I start to moving away from them, but guess what I have no one else to go in this party instead of Bella. Well particularly, I have not one to call a friend in the whole college.

But the guy notices my uneasiness and with a smirk he says, 'Yeah, she is drunk.'
How did he understand me. Is it written all over my face?

'I think that I should go.'

'But we think that you should stay,' Frank is saying that by walking towards me, 'By the way, I am Frank, nice meeting you, Delysha.'

'Happy Birthday, Frank. Sorry to intrude you here,' I say arching my eyes at Bella's hand which is almost under his shirt. And then realise what I am doing. Shit why can't behave like a normal teenager.

He laughs at my comment and continues, 'Well, we are not what you are thinking right now.'
I say nothing but stare at Bella who is now all over Frank. She is murmuring something.

'I think you should stay for dinner,' she says after a while.

'Yeah, you should. Come, meet my friends,' says Frank holding my hand and walking towards a guy group.
I protest but he doesn't leave my hand.

This guy group has some familiar and unfamiliar face the one I know for sure is Daniel. However, others are staring me in awe on their faces. I wanna know why.

'Guys, meet Delysha.' Frank practically announces like he has won some award by holding my hand. 'And Delysha, this my group Daniel, William, Tyler, Shekhar, and Matthew'
Every guy smiles when their names are said. God, this guys are really handsome not the blond haired American handsome but the brunette haired Indian kinda handsome. At this moment I really appreciated coming here.

We chat for some time. They ask me about my life I ask them about theirs. And, I can figure out that my biological mother is really famous here. Cause everyone knows her. I don't give them the details about my broken family or my cancer. Cause when the last time I told someone about it, they made a joke out of me so no more cancer cries. No doubt that this guy already know about my health situation but why press the topic.
So the story I narrate is about my graduation and my mother. That's all.

After dinner I walk around the lawn with Frank. And he says me about his life, his family. He is really a good guy, till now and I think that I have made a friend. And hope that he doesn't forget that I exist the next Monday.
