"Mom, you've gotta get here now!" Percy yelled to his phone as he ran through the unfamiliar halls of a hospital.

Rain was falling and, although Percy was on the bottom floor, it was quite loud. He was soaking wet and freezing, as November rain was very close to snow.

"Why? Are you okay? Are Annabeth and Marina okay?" Sally asked frantically, hearing the panic in Percy's voice.

Percy rushed into an elevator and started pressing the buttons. "Yeah, but Annabeth's in labor."

Sally gasped. "But she's not due until late December! I thought the 31st!"

"I did, too! We all did!" he cried. "She was just watching Marina and it happened and I had to leave work early and Marina is just here—!"

"Calm down, Percy, I'm on my way!" Sally cried. "Everything's going to be okay."

Percy nodded as the elevator doors opened. "Okay, mom, I'll see you soon."

Several hours later the waiting room on Annabeth's floor was flocked with people of all kind. Demigods, mortals, immortals, and more all stood, waiting for news.

Then Percy walked out of the delivery room, a wide grin on his face. "It's a boy! Ten fingers, ten toes. Annabeth's doing great."

"Can I see them?" Sally asked, immediately jumping to her feet. Marina was in her arms.

Percy nodded. "Yeah, follow me—"

Then Marina's cried interrupted him.

"Sorry, she's really hungry," Sally said. "I tried to find some food for her, but it was hopeless navigating this hospital."

"I've got her," Percy said, taking Marina into his arms. "You go see Annabeth and the baby, I'll get Marina some food."

Sally shook her head. "No, Percy, I can help, really—"

"Mom."

Sally sighed and walked to Annabeth's room, knowing Percy wouldn't budge. Percy then walked to the elevator and pressed a button which he assumed would lead him to the food court.

"They ages baby food at hospitals, right?" Percy asked Marina. She just glared at him. "I mean, old people have no teeth like babies, so at the very least we can get you some old people food."

Marina didn't seem to care, but at the mention of food she squirmed, clearly agitated.

"I know. I'm hungry, too," Percy admitted. Then the elevator doors opened and Percy walked out.

The cafeteria was no where to be found, the same with any nurses or doctors nearby. Eventually Percy found himself at a vending machine praying they had any sort of food a baby could eat.

"You like apples, right?" Percy asked Marina. "You've eaten them before. I think..."

"Nana," she replied.

"You want your grandma?" Percy asked.

Marina furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head. Then she pointed at the vending machine. "Nana."

Percy peered into the machine and saw a banana and nodded. He placed Marina down and got out his wallet. "Banana? Okay, I think you can eat that...."

He inserted a dollar, which was spat back at him. He groaned and tried over and over before settling with a different bill. Then, after another struggle with the machine, he was holding the banana.

"Here you go, Mari," he said, turning to hand her her banana only to release that he was alone. "Uh....Marina? Marina!"

He peered around the small vending area only to be more confused. Where the hell is she?!
