an empty vessel of thoughts
a growing ocean of emotions
a picture of desperation
with eyes following my every move
with words strung to break me
my feet carried me away
my ears pulled me closer
my mind shut down
but looking around
you said
you see a bit of yourself
in all those around
what is there to fear
when we feel the same
pain.
