Trepidation

a l g o p h o b i a (n) - fear of pain

the first chance you had

you threw my words away,

you slowly pulled my mind

and gripped my thoughts away.

the second chance you had

you carved your words

deep inside me, in my heart

you wrenched my mind and 

molded it to your tune.

the third chance you had

you guided me to the cliff

so beautiful, so serene

yet i didn't know,

that all you wanted

was to push me 

to the limit.

but i am no more that person

you molded or strung around,

i am no more scared of you

or your thoughts,

i am not giving you

another chance.

to break me, to change me.

i no longer fear you,

i fear the pain you bring.
