Does he walk, does he talk?
Does he come with a silvery beard?
I am walking the streets!
Jeremy has pulled me from my seat
He has pure compassion
Nobody can ever stain
Memories of his policies
have never caused me pain
Thirty two years go by
I'm reading the pages
of a satirical magazine
and there's Super Jeremy
on the pages in-between!
My blood runs cold
My memory has been sold
OUR Jeremy is the Centrefold!
Slipping notes under the school desk
whilst I was thinking about his policies
Too magical to lose
Ideological compassion
made me shake in my shoes
I had a right to choose
That soft fluffy silvery beard
Too magical to touch
To see him in his victory suit
was almost too much
Jeremy is OUR Centrefold
OK look I understand
We were living in that rotter Dave's land
I hoped that when four years had gone
I would see Jeremy with the P.M.'s suit on!
Jeremy is OUR Centrefold
Woo Woo Woo, Woo Woo, Woo!
Come on Conference sing!
Jeremy is OUR Centrefold
Jeremy is OUR centrefold
Our blood ran cold
Now we're back in the fold
Yes Jeremy is OUR Centrefold
Make differences matter
Not solely guided by idle chatter
Yes let's hear it again!
Jeremy is OUR Centrefold
