Sometimes when we touch
That last touch is too much
I was probably in a rush
A bird in my hand
is worth two in life's bush
Sometimes when we touch
I dream of our Honeymoon
which was intrinsically Dutch
Remember the time
when I pretended to be Butch
And that wedding ring
Like life eternal
was something you had to clutch
Sometimes when we touch
You daydream of Starsky and Hutch
You misunderstand me
I have never been easy to judge
I'm not just
about the shape of my touché
Sometimes when we touch
We leave holes in our hearts
which continue to gush
You misunderstand me
We forget that life could have been lush
If we had thought about
the cards we'd been dealt
we could have had
a Royal Flush
Sometimes when we touch
We're not tough enough
the peace doesn't placate the rough
Let's not pull, let's push
Life is for living, life is for loving
We can never touch too muchTap here to start writing
