I packed the last essentials in my third suitcase. We were going away for over a month so I packed pretty much my whole wardrobe. I hopped up onto the top of my suitcase just to zip it up. When I was packed, I heaved the last suitcase down the stairs and laid it with the others.

"All packed?" Lily asked, lugging a blue cooler into the hallway where I was standing.

"Just about, just going to get my last bag."

"You already have three," Lily pointed out.

"We're going for a long time," I retorted.

"Alright, hurry up. I'll take some bags to the car!"

"'kay."

I ran back up the stairs. I yanked a bag from under my bed, opened my desk drawer and pulled out my journal. I shoved it in the bag with my laptop, laptop charger and my phone charger. I zipped it up then swung it over my shoulder lightly. I looked around my room to make sure I hadn't left anything behind; when I was convinced I hadn't, I walked out, closed my door and my way downstairs.

Lily had already lugged two of my suitcases out.

"Thanks." I grinned, grabbing the last one and pulling it onto it's wheels.

"No problem. You all packed?"

"Yep, I got everything."

"Then let's go!"

Lily and I walked out of my house, closed the door behind us. We walked to the car, where I shoved the last of my suitcases in the back, then climbed into passenger seat. Lily was already sat, her seat belt on and ready to go. I put my own seatbelt on.

"Woo! Just gotta pick up the others then we're off on holiday!" Lily exclaimed, revving the engine.

It was a long drive, but we were there by lunchtime. We all climbed out of the car and stretched our aching limbs.

"This is yours?" Jacob asked, clearly in shock. We all knew Lily was rich but we didn't realise how rich.

"Well, technically it's my parents', but yeah I suppose."

"It's way cool," I said, staring up at the large house in front of me.

"It's alright I guess." Lily shrugged.

"Let's get everything inside then head out for lunch," Lucas suggested.

"Sounds good," Marie agreed.

Lily popped open the trunk. We each pulled out a suitcase while Lily unlocked the door of the large holiday home.

"Okay, I've assigned everyone rooms. Dean, you're sharing with Jacob in the first room on the right. Marie, you're with me in the first on the left then Lucas and George you're in the room at the end of the hall," Lily recited when everyone's suitcases were in the house.

We nodded them headed to our rooms. I had to make a three trips to get all my suitcases upstairs.

"This place is amazing," Jacob said, as he flopped down on his chosen bed.

"You're not wrong." I sat down on my own bed.

"Dean, can I ask you something?"

"Sure, what's up?"

"What do you think of Marie?"

"She's one of my best friends, I think she's great. Why?" I raised an eyebrow at Jacob.

"No reason." His face started to flush.

"So you like her then?"

"I don't know; I mean, she's super funny and honestly one of the best girls I know. She makes my heart feel weird."
