If I were to describe Adam, I'd call him the "walking perfection." Okay. I admit. He's not perfect. He doesn't talk much, he walks in a lousy manner and is not so good with communicating. I don't care though. He's my kind of perfect.
"T-thank you." I stuttered as he moved his eyebrow upwards meaning "no problem" and went back to his car. "Adam?" I looked back peeked inside the black tinted window of his. He didn't look so i tapped it. Then finally, he rolled it down.
"Sorry, yeah?" His eyebrows met in confusion.
The points of my index fingers met as I shyly asked, "Whats your number?"
He giggled in a cute way. Damn. I thought. Such a bad move.
"Ha..ha." I giggled with him, trying to act cool.
"Here." He motioned his hand to my phone. I kindly gave it and he gave his number.
"Thanks." I smiled wide. "Here's mine." I wrote it on a piece of paper. He slowly grabbed it and nodded.
He glanced at his watch again and said, "It's time to go."
"Yes, see you soon!" I kindly said.
I walked to our front porch and slowly opened the wooden door painted white. I leaned against it as I shut my eyes tightly. I hope they're not awake.
I sighed in relief when I saw that there were no light in my parent's room. I still tiptoed, though. I don't plan to wake them up.
As I came to my room, quick thoughts came to my mind. Was there really a reason why I tried to run from home? And why did I want to go home? Didn't I want to find myself? Then it hit me.
He helped me look for myself and I knew exactly where I belonged. In Adam's arms.
I decided to nap, since it was 2 AM and I usually wake up at 10 AM. I closed my eyes and dosed off.
"Briiiiiiiii!"
"Bri!!!!!!!!"
"Briiiii!"
I heard Miranda calling, but I thought it was only a dream, so I continued sleeping.
*Bang*
Just by that, my whole senses awakened. Miranda just threw the freaking lego man that we both made years ago. It was a big lego man. Probably about a hand span long. And it hurt.
"WHAT THE FU-" I clenched my fists and threw them at Miranda.
"HOLD UP!!" She ducked so I missed the punch. This girl has cat-like reflexes.
I glared at her and let her explain. "You have 10 seconds." I shifted my eyes to my purple clock.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 I counted in my mind.
"There's a boy looking for you downstairs." She said slowly, to match the 10 seconds I gave her.
"and you had to hit me with a lego man?!"
"Because you wouldn't wake up!"
"OK. Get out my room. I'll get ready." I pushed her.
I washed my face and put on a gray sweatshirt with sweatpants. I went down to find Adam talking to my dad.
"Hi Adam!!" I almost squealed with excitement as my dad looked at me in a somewhat bad kind of way.
"Oops." I mouthed.
"Adam is here, looking for you." My dad said as he smiled. I breathed in relief, knowing that my dad actually does like Adam.
"Seems like he wants to take you somewhere." My dad said as I looked at him. We made eye contact and I moved my eyebrows up, signalling him if I am allowed to go.
"You have until nine." He said.
"THANK YOU DAD!" I hugged him and smiled at Adam. Adam was just behind my dad, so he smiled at me cutely again and giggled. He gave me the thumb of approvement and I went upstairs to get ready. It seems like they have already talked to each other for a while now.
