Cara's eyes opened groggily as the silver and green dorm room surrounded her. Narcissa and Bellatrix Black were her roommates, the girl got on well enough for them to not hate each other.

"Good morning, Cara." Narcissa said with a smile, Narcissa always had the motherly instinct, which was probably why she was always so sweet to Cara.

"Good morning to you too, Narcissa"  Cara replied with a smile, Bellatrix's  wild hair was strewn across the room.

"Cara! Can you help me get this knot out?" Bellatrix asked, this was their morning routine, Cara and Narcissa greet each other, Bellatrix needs help with her hair, they all get dressed, and then go to the Great Hall for breakfast it was simple, and eternal. Cara brushed out the large Knot that resided in Bellatrix's hair.

"Thank you Cara." Bellatrix said, it was rare Bellatrix, Regulus, Narcissa, Lucius, any of the popular Slytherins really, were nice to people, but for some reason they were nice enough to Cara. The three girl changed into their silver and Green crested robes, and grabbed their wands. (Cara's wand was an English Oak wood, with a unicorn hair core, 12 inches with supple flexibility.) The girl walked into the Great Hall together as per usual, before Rosie approached her sister.

"Good morning Car! I need to talk to you about something." Rosie said with a bright smiled evident on her face, and her light blonde hair tied up into a yellow bow. Cara followed her older sister.

"You showed the Marauders that you can do wand less magic?" Rosie whispered yelled to Cara, but Cara nodded unbothered.

"Did they tell everyone?" Cara asked with a slight yawn after asking.

"No, James was kind enough to keep it a secret, luckily Remus told me. You can't keep going off of these out of class duels with Marauders. One day Cara you will lose." Rosie said, genuine worry written on her face.

"We'll see, I gotta go, bye Ro. Oh, and calm down, I promise I'll be fine." Cara said before walking back over to the Slytherin table.

"Why was that blood traitor taking to you?" Lucius asked as he looked over to Cara, she held back an eye roll.

"She was telling me my father sent me a letter and I need to respond to him by Friday." Cara lied, it wasn't that Cara was ashamed of her sister, but Rosie was right there are some people that can beat Cara in a fight, it was Lucius and his group, the reason they would win would be because they aren't afraid to use the Unforgivable curses. Severus Snape was to the left of Cara, and she remembered the deal her and Sirius had made just last night.

"Have the Marauders pranked you again by any chance?" Cara asked him, he shook his head and she let out a sigh, she couldn't tell if it was a sigh of disappointment, or relief. The Marauders walked into the dining hall fashionably late as usual. James Potter separated from the group to go after Lily Evans, who was sitting with Rosie over at the Hufflepuff table, Remus, Sirius, and  Peter went over to the Gryffindor table chatting with each other, Sirius however was staring at Cara over at the Slytherin table. She wasn't speaking to the people whom surrounded her, she was listening, she seemed as if she was gathering intel on the Slytherins. Sirius stood up and walked over to the table, at this point all eyes in the Hall were on him, including the Slytherin's whom he was approaching. When Sirius reached the group Bellatrix scowled, and Narcissa was refusing to make eye contact with him, but Sirius' eyes were set on Cara.

"Hey Cara, can I talk to you?" Sirius asked with his signature smirk. Cara's eyes had an evident look of fear in them, not fear of Sirius, but a fear of what her peers would do if she said yes, so instead she said no.

"No, sorry, bye Black" She spat, Sirius knew that she wasn't the person she was presenting now, but he also knew what the other Slytherins were capable of.
