Chapter 18

The new morning was full of joy. One of the few non cloudy days in England decided to show up then. Birds chirped and bee's buzzed, the whole world seemed to be aglow with sunshine.

Cara woke up as the first rays of sunshine peered through her curtains. She happily popped out of bed, remaking it so she could feel like she had some control, and walked into her closet. Ares pecked on the balcony window with a letter from Rosie.

Dear Cara,

Lily and I have explored so much of the muggle word in the last day, and would like to invite you, James, Charles, and Sirius to join us for the day. Now that I am seventeen I will be able to apparate us to the glorious beach of Italy. Please get back to me by 12;00 pm today.

Sending all my love, your sister Rosie.

Cara smiled at the letter before choosing something to wear for the day. Cara instantly wrote back that Rosie and Lily should definitely be expecting them. Cara knew that James would leap at the chance to see Lily. Charles and herself had also been excited to see their sister's take on the muggle world. Cara put on a white bikini underneath a white sundress with sunflowers on it. Care put her hair into a half up half down style and walked downstairs. Euphemia, Fleamont, James, and Charles were already downstair sitting at the dining table.

"Mrs— Euphemia, I received a letter from my older sister and I was wondering if Charles, James, Sirius, and I could go visit her and her friend, Lily Evans, in the muggle world today." James eyes lit up when he heard Lily's name, and knowing that Rosie could use her powers outside of school made it all the better. Euphemia smiled with glee, happy to see Cara was more comfortable in the house and with the Potter family.

"Of course! That sounds like a wonderful way to get out! Enjoy yourselves." Sirius walked downstairs with a smile when he saw Cara.

"Why does everyone look so happy?" He asked confused. Cara turned to him with a bright smile, and Charles with a matching one.

"We're going to see Rosie today!" Cara and Charles answered in unison before laughing as loud as they could. Sirius chuckled at the pair as Cara twirled in her dress.

"I am going to go pack a bag and I already sent her a reply we would be there at 12;00 p.m. Oh and Rosie said to bring your swimsuits." Cara said, before she ran up the stairs and into her room. She pulled out a backpack, which had an undetectable expansion charm on it, and stuffed it full of sunscreen, lipgloss, books, towels, and a change of clothes. Cara walked across the hallway and knocked on the door, Sirius opened it and saw her backpack hanging off her shoulder.

"Let me guess, extension charm?" Sirius asked, Cara smiled and nodded rapidly. Sirius pulled her into his arms, and held her at the waist, before she pushed away.

"You better be ready when we leave because I will not be late spending time with my sister." Cara said as she walked out of his room. Charles ran up the stairs giddy with joy, and ran into his sisters room.

"Do you have sun block? You know how easily I burn. I think Lily is bringing Mary, and I just want to make sure everything is perfect." Cara smiled, she knew how love sick her brother was for Mary, but Cara herself had no place to judge.

"I have everything, can you go ask James if he is ready to go?" Cara asked, Charles nodded and ran through the house. Sirius walked into her room and handed her his sunglasses and a change of clothes.

"I officially have everything. Mary is joining Lily and Rosie today, and Charles is having a full blown moment of fear. He wants everything to be perfect, but I can't say I blame him, he has always been a romantic." Cara said as Sirius sat on her bed, she joined his side and smiled.
