Black and White {Sirius Black} {1}

Chapter Four

Lucius, Narcissa, Bellatrix, and Cara all followed Lily into a dark area, and Lucius pushed her into a dark version of the room of requirement 

"So, Mud blood, you couldn't have just watched where you were walking." Bellatrix barked, Lucius smirked evilly. Lily was terrified, this was 4 against 1, plus Bellatrix had taken her wand, and Lily didn't know wand less magic. Then they heard students moving around to get the next class.

"You guys can go, I'll take care of this." Cara said, the other nodded and smirked, the others finally believed they had brought the Cara White to the dark side. Lucius, Narcissa, and Bellatrix left trying to make it to Transfiguration with the Gryffindor. Lily was left alone with Cara White, one of the easily most intimidating people in all Hogwarts.

"Here, go back to your dorm, I'll lend you the notes for transfiguration." Cara said holding out Lily's wand back to her. Lily was in a moment of astonishment, the girl whom was supposed to hate Lily and other people like Lily (muggle borns), was helping her not get hurt.

"What? W-why are you helping me?" Lily asked, not out of hatred, but out of surprise.

"Because I don't think you meant to do anything, and no one can control their blood status, I do suggest you just believe people think I hurt you, I can help other people that way." And for once Lily Evans wasn't afraid of Cara White, she was actually thankful.

"I'll see you around, Lily." Cara said with a bright smile, Lily left quickly, still in astonishment of what just happened. Lily was going to let everyone else believe Cara hurt her, plus it would protect Cara from the other Slytherin's wrath.

Cara walked into Transfiguration a little late, grabbing the attention of McGonagall in the process.

"Ms. White, now may I ask why you are late?" McGonagall asked with a stern look, causing every one else to look over to her. Sirius looked confused, Cara had always been at the top of her class (she beat both Lily and Remus' grades) and she was never late, but when Sirius looked over to Lucius, Bellatrix, and Narcissa snickering he knew they had put her up to something.

"Um-I I had something I need to take care of." Cara stated with a slight stutter, another thing that confused Sirius, Cara had always been able to talk to teachers better than she could talk to the people in her age group.

"Something more important than your school work?" McGonagall egged on, and thats when Cara snapped, Cara knew she was going to get detention for her next words, but honestly at this point she didn't care.

"Not schoolwork in general, just your class." Cara seethed. Everyone in the class, including McGonagall, was taken aback by the dark haired girls words.

"DETENTION!" McGonagall exclaimed at the young girl, Cara rolled her eyes and started walking over to Bellatrix, Lucius, and Narcissa.

"Oh, and the ultimate punishment, Ms. White, you will be partners with Mr. Black for this class." Cara's face went white, before she turned back to McGonagall.

"Please tell me this is a cruel joke!" Cara exclaimed, Sirius' expression fell, and it was noticed by James, Remus and Peter, they all knew about the previous friendship between the two, but in that moment Remus, James and Peter realized Sirius had feelings that were beyond friendship for Cara.

"No, Miss White its not, now please take a seat, and I'll see you at detention." McGonagall said with a smirk, and Cara made her way over to the empty seat next to Sirius.
