Welcome Home From Rehab

Today and the next two days I have off since it's dance rehearsals then filming the dance number which I'm not in thankfully.

Since I have these couple of days off, my best friend is flying in to stay for a couple days.

I tried to contain my excitement when I saw her coming down the escalator so she could read my sign.

Naturally, she bursted out laughing.

"I need a picture" She said taking her phone out.

I held the sign, smiling and posing for her.

The sign said, 'Welcome home from rehab bestie!'

"I missed you asshole" She said giving me a hug.

"I missed you too"

We grabbed her suitcase and walked out to my car.

"So fill me in on everything"

We spent the car ride catching up, I filled her in on everything that was going on, including the whole Josh situation.

"Damn it felt good to tell someone" I said after catching her up.

"Wait so you haven't told anyone?"

"No...I love my new friends to death but they're all so close to Josh that it would make things weird. They only know about the elevator situation."

We pulled into my parking spot and unloaded her stuff before heading upstairs.

Dara's car was gone so I knew they were still at rehearsals.

"This is a cute place" Bella said as we walked in.

"Thank you, my room is this way" I led her down the hall to the furthest room.

We put her stuff in and she plopped on my bed right away.

"So when do I get to meet everyone?"

"Well you'll meet Dara and Julia when they get back, Frankie lives in the same building so there's a chance he may come over."

"What about this Joshua Bassett boy?"

"We can go visit rehearsals tomorrow if you want?" I offered. "Then you can meet everyone."

She stood up.

"Oooo yes!" She clapped her hands in excitement. "I'm going to shower"

"Okay"

I took my phone out and texted Josh.

Chloe: How's rehearsals twinkle toes?

While I waited, I went on instagram.

I made sure to repost Bella's story of me on my story.

I scrolled through instagram then I went on Tik Tok scrolling through my For You page.

Josh texted back after 15 minutes of scrolling.

Josh: We're surprisingly getting the hang of it faster than everyone thought

Josh: And I am not twinkle toes!!

I smiled at his second text, biting my lip thinking of a response.

Chloe: Yes you are twinkle toes

I put a couple kissy faces then hit sent.

"I feel so much better now"

I looked up and Bella was walking back into the room.

"Yea airplanes make me feel gross too"

Since I'm out of work right now due to the coronavirus, I have time to catch up on my stories so expect more chapters now :):)
