Honeydew came back to the village with a few blankets of silk and some jewelery. He wrapped some over Lavender, Evergreen and Iris and handed them some jewelery for them to put on.

"This is too fancy," Iris muttered, flicking her tail disapprovingly as she stared down at her shiny new look.

"Its the best," Lavender insisted, "We need to go to Jewel Hive. That Hive has tons of parties with dragons wearing silk and jewelery. We can sneak through the crowds as Silkwings and Hivewings."

"So..Honeydew walk around like a prince and we pretend to be his servants or something?" Iris said sarcastically.

"Hey!" Honeydew protested.

"Sure," Evergreen said slowly. She wore a dark purple silk over her scales, and wore emerald pendants.

"We need some cover-up names as well," Iris said. "I think Iris can fit a Silkwing," she fingered her silk and growled softly in frustration as her wings got tangled.

"I guess that fits," Honeydew muttered.

"I'll be Wisteria," Evergreen offered," And Lavender can be Turquoise." She eyed her aqua-blue jewelery and silk. She has a whole layer of sea-green silk wrapped around her wrist so the Hivewings won't see her flamesilk glow. Evergreen has a golden one wrapped around her wrist as well, in case she was a flamesilk.

"Okay," Lavender said, "Once we get to Jewel Hive we'll need to find some paintbrushes to paint our scales. Anyone has extra scales to buy some paint?"

Honeydew nodded, tapping his pouch hung around his neck.

"Good," Iris glanced around, "Ready?"

They took off to the air, their silks flapping behind them. Evergreen's heavy violet pendant jingled and swung on her neck and her silk flapped on her snout. She rode on Lavender, who's wings were full of energy and flying at top speed.

They landed at Jewel Hive's entrance, where there was a Hivewing guard.

"Names?" One asked Honeydew gruffly. He had red-orange scales with black stripes like a tiger, and he had a scar over his snout. His claws were really deep sharp and black and as he eyed Honeydew's gold and orange silk and garnet-coloured jewelery, he stared down at his pendant with a piercing look.

"My name's Honeydew," Honeydew answered, his snout raised, "These are my Silkwing servants, Wisteria, Turquoise and Iris." He clicked a claw at each of them.

"Alright, head in," The guard said with a flick of his tail.

Honeydew joined talons with Evergreen, and Lavender held Evergreen and Iris's talons. Together they slipped into the crowd of Silkwings and Hivewings wearing silk and jewelery. For a moment Evergreen thought that they were lost before Honeydew pushed them into a small shop.

Over at the counter was an old Hivewing wearing a white pearl necklace and golden spectacles. Her scales were a mix of gold and bits of orange, with black scales here and there. She wrinkled her snout when she eyed Lavender, Evergreen and Iris. Honeydew told them to stay at the entrance and he went over to a stand. He pulled out a few paint buckets and placed them on the counter in front of the Hivewing.

The Hivewing stared down at the buckets and narrowed her eyes.

"Twenty scales," she said sulkily. Honeydew slapped twenty scales on the counter and left with the buckets. Evergreen took Iris and Lavender's talons and the scurried out of the shop together, following Honeydew.

"Who stuck a spike up that Hivewing's snout?" Iris snapped as they left.

Honeydew shrugged. "Hivewings aren't usually in favor of Silkwings. It's normal in the Hives. The Silkwings didn't mind at all."
