As soon as we got back from Chile, I was rushing to see James. I was wondering how he was holding up after his dad kicked him out of the house and took his car keys away. That's what I was thinking about the whole time I was in Chile. It all happened when we were at aunt Eva's house and he got a sudden call from his dad.

James; I'll be back

Me; is everything ok? Do you want us to wait for you to eat together?

James; yeah. It should be quick. I'll be back soon.

An hour passed and nothing. No call, no text. Aunt Eva and I were hungry as hell so we decided we'd eat without him. After serving our food and sitting at the dining room table, James calls me.

James; can you please open the door for me?

Me; yeah *goes open the door*

As soon as I opened the door, I saw James getting to aunt Eva's in a white car that wasn't his. He got dropped off. I didn't say anything but I was a little confused. His face was red and he was acting strange. That bothered me a bit but I didn't want to show that I was bothered that the person dropping him off could've been Marisol since she had a similar looking white car. I was calm though. I went with the flow, just looking at his face, thinking about how weird he looked. His eyes were a bit red and watery. I didn't mention what I was observing. I acted as if I wasn't curious about anything. Five minutes later, James spoke.

James; so um, I got kicked out of my house. My dad kicked me out;

Aunt Eva; what?

Me; wait, what? Why? What the fuck.

James; he got mad because I didn't do him the favor of removing a container from my house. I explained to him that I didn't do it because that shit was too heavy. I needed at least one or two more people to help me lift it.

Aunt Eva; just for that? There has to be more to it.

Me; then what happened?

James; he got mad. He told me that if I was unreliable, irresponsible, lazy, etc. I kept calm. He was spazzing out on me saying that I wasn't helping out with the business and that he's shutting that shit down. After saying all of that, he said that whenever I want to get the fuck out, I could. Basically kicking me out. I told him fine. I was walking out of the door. Then he told me I could leave but to leave the car keys. I left them on the table for him and walked out. I had my friend pick me up and he dropped everything he was doing to bring me here.

Aunt Eva; wow. I'm lost for words.

Me; that's fucked up. Over that shit he got so mad? And kicked you out? What the fuck man. Are you okay though?

James; yeah, I'm fine. You see how I'm not even mad about it?

Aunt Eva; do you have a place to stay? If you want, you can stay here. You know that the doors to my house are always open for you.

James; I'm going to stay with my cousin for a while. Thank you though, I appreciate it.

Me; wow. I really can't focus right now. I'm so mad. It just pisses me off how everything went down.

James; don't get mad. I'm calm so you shouldn't get mad. Don't worry, I'm good.

We all ate and started watching movies, talking, having a good time. Two hours later, aunt Eva went upstairs to make baby Naty sleep. James and I were laying down on the couch watching a movie he put on.

Me; are you sure you're okay?

James; yeah. Of course it makes me a little upset that I can't count on my dad or my mom but I know I'll be good.
