Chapter eighteen: home but not the same

One minute the noises were distant now they were just outside the door "IN HERE!" Jetfire yelled clearly having allot more energy than the rest of us, with that the door smashed open im not sure who came in but their was 6 sets of pedes steps "what happened!" Dad's shocked words rang through the air I could hear 3 rushed steps heading for the berths which me, Shadow and Grace lay "Optimus prime sir we might want to leave this place soon" I heard Jetstorm "they are allied with the Decepticons sir" Jetfire finished for his brother. I waited for a couple of seconds but only heard shuffling, I felt so numb because of the cold  "Jolt electrify Skye" Dad ordered, I felt an energising shock then all my senses came back online since I was slipping into shutdown, pain receptors now back online I screamed out bloody murder clearly waking Shadow and Grace making them scream out aswell. I soon settled and curled back up protectively "its okay were gonna get ya outta here" Jazz's voiced soothed "th-thank you" I whispered feeling him pick me up "Grace I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have been so nasty" I could hear Hide apologise "it's o-okay Hi-Hidey" she replied but you could hear the weakness in her voice. "I'm sorry.…. For being..... Such a..... Saw loser..... Shadow" Bee's radio played out from different clips "its fine B-Bee" she replied so I guess its my turn. "S-sorry for flipping o-out Jazzy" "shhhh next time let me Finnish wha' I was sayin' I was gonna say I deleted ya music and put it all on your new MP3 which I got ya" I instantly felt guilty for my actions "i-i didn't mean it I don't h-hate you Jazz I missed ya" "I know Skye, I missed ya too I'd do exactly wha ya did if I was you but stop ya talkin save ya energy" I smiled and complied. Whilst we were talking we had been removed from our torture and I was currently laying in Jazz's arms "Skye I need ya too go too human form" I slowly nodded and switched the pain amplified 10 fold, I groaned as Jazz transformed around me, I was spread across the back seats comfortably for the first time in a while, the heaters kicked in and I felt safe with Jazz as I relaxed. He played music gently through his speakers I could make the song out as 'love of the common people by Paul young' it was a nice enjoyable song I whispered/ mouthed the lyrics since I knew my voice would fail on me. The song changed too 'how long will I love you by Ellie goulding' this was playing up until we arrived at base, Jazz drove straight through and into med bay avoiding any other Bot's which I was greatful for. I was laid down on a berth next to Shadow and Grace, Smokescreen Knocked out on a berth next to Shadow and the Jettwins sitting together on the chairs in Med bay. I was no longer balling up since I knew Jazzy was around and his presence was just comforting. "Okay then let's see" Dad said getting to work with Smokescreen and since Jolt worked with dad in med bay he was sorting the Jettwins out. I laid their for a bit waiting to be let out all I wanted to do was be in my room, I was given the all clear accept my arm was in a sling  and my leg was in a cast, dad said no transforming or playing with elements until I was fully healed he gave the same advice to the others but Grace had a broken leg and a broken rib and Shadow had a broken arm. I was handed a crutch and helped off of the berth, Jazz walked with me to the room opening doors for me along the way. Once we reached the room I got changed into my pyjama's it took me 20 minutes but I did it, I refused to let Jazz help me so once I was finished I climbed into bed leaning the crutch against the wall and getting comfortable Jazz's Holoform came and sat on the bed next to me "I'm sorry Jazz" I said again still feeling guilty "it's fine Skye just hear me out nex' time" he told me taking my good hand and placing something rectangular in it I looked down too see a MP3 player I wasn't sure on the make because I didn't really care it was the thought that counted, I looked up at him, he was smiling at me "thank you Jazzy i-i l-love ya" I wasn't exactly used to saying it in English so. He just laughed then replied "ya welcome, don't ever leave again I love ya too" once he finished the door slammed open and within the second I curled up and was shaking violently through fear of seeing Darkfang there. Jazz put a hand on my shoulder too calm me which it did I looked up too see my brothers but I knew it wouldn't be the same for a long time...
