Chapter twenty-three: Reunited

I'm so excited today's the day I get to see my sister again for the first time in nearly a year and since were twins and very close it felt like a million years since I had last seen her. I skipped down to the main hanger to meet up with dad who was parked up in his alt mode "ay dad wha's the game plan?" I asked standing just in front of him, I was in my Bot form so I could see eye to eye with the other Bots "Skye I'm going to install a Holoform into you so you can use your alt mode to pick them up" he told me transforming. I nodded and asked "dad is it possible for me to change ma paint job?" He looked deep in thought as if contemplating something "I don't see why not, just think of the colour you want to change to and imagine it on yourself" he explained I nodded and imagined the yellow changing to white. I looked up at dad "well did it work?" He nodded "it looks good. Okay so get your Holoform installed" "wha' I have ta do doc bot?" I asked "Skye don't call me doc bot! I get enough of that from your brothers" he warned "here I'm going to inject the chip into your systems" I backed up shaking my head no "I don't do needle's" I stated backing up further as he approached. I kept backing up until my back hit the wall "Skye its just a pinch okay" I sighed giving up. It was over in a second "okay, how do I activate it?" I asked tilting my head slightly "just think Holoform activate its that easy" he said and walked away. I wandered around for a while looking forward to seeing my sister and family even though they aren't my biological family they did put up with me for 16 years "hey Skye" I was snapped out of my thoughts hearing Shadow's voice "hey Shad's" I replied as she ran up and joined me "wha's up" I asked. Her bot form was blue with white streaks (waiting for a proper description sorry) "not much nice paint job" she complimented, I smiled "thanks" she nodded "your leaving to pick up your family soon aren't you?" She asked I nodded in reply "well Bee is waiting for me I'll talk to you later" with that said she ran off and I continued my walk listening to music on my MP3. The time came to leave to get to the airport, I was about to leave when major Lennox ran up to me "okay, you will bring them back here for introductions then show them around and make sure there settled in there room" "kay" with that said I transformed to my alt mode, which was a white Ferrari 458 Italia, 'Holoform activate' I thought then my point of view changed as I sat in my own drivers seat. I placed my hands on my wheel, my engine roared to life as I took off towards the airport, it was strange sitting inside myself 'huh so this is how the others feel with their holoforms' I thought trying to direct myself through the maze which is america's roads.

Time skip to arrival at the airport

I pulled into a car park just outside the airport. I climbed out and sat on top of my hood, so many people stopped to stare at my alt mode with numerous comments such as "sweet ride" or "beautiful car" I smiled and waited for my family. A couple of minutes past before I caught a glimpse of a little white and brown Jack Russell cross running in my direction "RASCAL!" I called out to him, he picked up speed barking "mum!, mum!, I haven't seen you in ages were did you go!" Once he reached me I picked him up and kissed his head "hey'a boy how's ya been I'm sorry, people took me away, oooh I missed ya boy" I said bear hugging him "it's okay". I almost had tears running from my eye's already, soon I could see Leah walk out of the building with mum and dad trailing " shhh Rascal, I'mma sneak up behind them be quiet" I told him in a hushed tone "okay" he replied so I put him down. He trailed me crawling his way, I got behind them to listen to what they were talking about "ugh!, were did that dog go" mum complained I got close enough and wrapped one arm around dad's shoulder and the other around mum's "ya know, I know exactly where he is" I think i startled them since they pretty much jumped a foot in the air. They whipped around to face me "SKYE!" They shouted in unison tackling me into a hug "hey" I said trying to get out of their grip's "so how are ya?" I asked "we've been good" dad replied for them all "let's talk once were on de road okay" they nodded "so you drive now?" Mum asked tilting her head "well ya could say that" I smirked and led them towards my alt mode. Mum and dad hopped into back whilst Leah was in passenger with Rascal on my lap "sweet car!" Leah exclaimed "wow she talks, 'n' thanks" "well I'm sorry if I haven't seen my little sis in nearly a year and shocked to see her" I laughed then replied "wha' ever ya say shorty" I mocked the fact that she was older yet I was taller "and you still haven't learned to talk normally tisk" she mocked back. I pretended to concentrate on the road "hey mum were are we going?" Rascal asked "were goin to where I live boy" I told him "so what have you been doing here Skye?" Mum questioned "ya know stuff, but check dis speed!" I excelerated to a point that we where just a blurr "SKYE SPEED LIMITS!" dad yelled "chill they can't pull me cause I work for the government" I told them. All was silent for a minute before Leah spoke up "cool, what part of the government?" "Ah ah ah you'll find out" with that said we all continued to catch up with each other for the rest of the journey to base I just hope they don't flip out, even if they aren't my real parents.

Time skip to base

We arrived not long ago and right now I was showing them around, everyone was out on a mission accept a few including Sunny and Sides, dad, Grace, Shadow and Smokescreen who had woken up a couple of days ago everyone was in their Holoform making it easier for me. I approached med bay being the last place they needed to see and where everyone was, I opened the door for them "mum, dad, Leah meet mine and Leah's real dad" I introduced gesturing towards Ratchets holoform. They looked at each other for a bit before Dad (Ratchet) spoke "its nice to meet you, thank you for looking after my girls" he approached and formally shook their hands "well its nice to meet you too" mum told him "Skye, Leah we have been talking we would like you to call us by our real names now" Dad (adopted) explained, I was shocked by this why would they want us to do that? "Why?" Leah voiced my thoughts. I waited for a response "because now you have your real dad, we will always love you two but it will be less confusing if you just called us by our names" I was close to tears this was like abandonment but I nodded and fought the tears "okay" I breathed, Leah went up and shook our dad's hand since she was never a hugger "mu-karen, Mark ya will be living off of base in a military assigned house" I explained choking a little, they both nodded "go wait in main hanger major Lennox will take you there" dad explained. They left leaving me, Leah, dad, Sunny, Sides, Smokescreen, Grace and Shadow "okay, Leah this is our brothers, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, this is Smokescreen a friend of mine and ya already know Grace and Shad's" I heard a bark and I picked Rascal up "guys this is Leah and Rascal" I introduced "hi, hi, hi, hi" Rascal chanted "Rascal say's hi" I told them. They all spent time getting to know each other, we told Leah and showed her our Bot form's and she was fine with it.

Time skip to when the others arrive

We stopped talking hearing a booming semi truck horn, dragging Leah to the main hanger to see all the alt mode's surrounding us, I turned of my holoform and switched to Bot form. She looked round in awe as everyone transformed, I went to stand by Jazz "Leah meet de guy's" I said, she did not look happy oh yeah I forgot she had a problem with strangers, I switched to human (no holoform) and ran over to her "its okay their fine" I told her gesturing around. "Hi" she waved up at Optimus who smiled down at her, we were joined by Shadow and Grace shortly as Optimus started his long introduction of everything. (I skipped it because I find it boring reading it 100 times over) by the end I was in Bot form leaning against Jazz since this speech was always tiring, Leah looked around at us as if decoding something, she looked at Hide and Grace who were hand in hand "so you two are a couple?, along with you two" she said gesturing to Bee and Shadow, Shadow had her head on Bee's shoulder almost asleep. Both pair's nodded then she faced me and Jazz "aww my little sister grew up" "whatever shorty" I dismissed her comment with a wave of a hand, she just chuckled. I did notice something during the time though, the way she looked at Optimus was like the way I look at Jazz or the way Grace looks at Ironhide or even the way Shadow looks at Bumblebee and I know my sister, she likes him. I was told to show Leah where she would be staying so I did, then i headed to my room to sleep, I got into my PJ's then buried myself in the covers of my bed being joined by Rascal who curled up at the end of my bed i slowly drifted into a long sleep.
