Chapter fourteen: identity

I woke the next morning hearing 'summer by Calvin Harris playing through my speakers "mornin' darlyn, Grace made you guys breakfast and I'll be trainin' all day " Jazz told me, I perked knowing how good her cooking was "mornin' thanks for tellin me" I rubbed my eyes and sat up, stretched then made my way to the kitchen. When I got there I saw Shadow sitting at the table and Grace at the cooker "mornin' guys" I said taking a seat next to Shadow "morning" they replied simultaneously "how'd ya sleep?" I asked "good thanks" Shad's replied "great thank you what about you?" Grace questioned "alright" I replied. I swung my legs back and forth until a plate appeared in front of me, I looked up too see a b-e-a-utiful plate of pancake's "Grace, I think I could cry they look so good!" I exclaimed as she sat down to eat, each of us with a plate now "thank you" I said "thanks" Shad's also said before I wolfed down my food. I made sure to lick my plate clean before putting it in the sink "they where AMAZING!" I stated since I had missed pancakes and they were so good "thank you" I repeated whilst sitting back down "so I was thinking, we should have like specified outfits for battle, kinda like a superman thing in case people see us" Grace suggested "sounds good, I'm sick of my good clothes getting wrecked" Shadow was first to reply since I wasn't sure on what to wear but it did sound good not having to wreck my hoodie's "I'm in" I stated "okay then let's go get the clothes today" I nodded then waited for them to Finnish before exscusing myself to get changed.

I got changed then ran to the main hanger to meet the others "so who's taking us?" Shad's asked I thought that was already taken care of "Jazz is trainin' so he can't take us" I stated "Bee is out on a scouting mission" so that leaves Ironhide we turned to face Grace "he's busy too, he's fixing weapons like normal" I sighed then a idea occurred "why don't we walk? its not too far" they nodded and we started our walk to the shopping centre.

Time skip to arrival

We arrived about 10 minutes later "okay meet back here once ya done" they both nodded then walked off, I knew exactly where I was heading so I walked into sports direct picked up my outfit and paid for it then walked back too the meeting point. I was shortly after joined by Shadow "so what did you get?" She asked "show ya later" I stated not wanting to pull everything out "how long ya think she'll be?" I asked impatiently "not long she's coming now" I noticed her walking towards us with a bag in hand "okay let's go" with that we walked back to base.

Time skip to base

"Okay let's see, we can go get changed in ma room" I offered knowing Jazz wouldn't be in there, they both nodded so we headed to my room. We walked in and I locked the door behind us "sweet room Skye" Shadow complimented "thanks, bath room is there we can change one at a time cause ya know privacy" "who wants to go first?" Grace asked "don't mind" I said walking over to my stereo and plugging my phone in to play 'Awake and alive by Skillet'. "I'll go" Shad's stated going into the bathroom, she came out dressed in (photo up top on the right)  "suits ya" I said walking into the bathroom with my bag. I got changed (photo up top on the left) then walked out "check da cape" I said twirling around "cool" Shadow said before grace walked into the bathroom, she came out wearing (photo up top middle) "mmhmm, cool I think we got our costumes now" I stated with a smile. We talked for a bit after getting changed then spent the rest of the day playing games on the Wii.
