WHEN THEY REALIZE THEIR FEELINGS

Asta:
**his p.o.v**

(y/n) was helping me out with training and I just can't help and be amazed by her magic. She called it Gum Magic, which makes sense. It was almost like Vanessa's thread magic but you can't see (y/n)'s 'gum' as she called it. 

I was thrown into a tree, landing on the ground with a large 'thump'. 

"Oh, I'm sorry. Am I being to harsh?" She asks me bending down next to me. 
"No, it's fine." I say to her flashing her a smile. 

"Good, because if you want to Wizard King, you need to at least beat me and see my next attack coming." She says. 
"Huh?" Just as I questioned that, a tree branch slams down on my back. 

Her magic really is amazing, I still haven't seen her use her grimoire yet. 

"That was a good one, let's go again." I say groaning as I got up. 

"Okay, but this is the last time. I'm getting kind of tired." She says with a yawn and covering her mouth. 

That's when I realized as I was staring at her, that I had feelings for her. It was the same way I felt towards Sister Lily but stronger. The way she supports me in my dream to become the Wizard King and even helps me become stronger is what made me fall for her. 

Fuegoleon: 
**his p.o.v**

It was late at night and I was walking around the halls until a saw the familiar figure sitting outside right by the fountain. I immediately recognized the figure as one of my subordinates (y/n) (l/n). She was staring up at the sky. 

"Shouldn't you be asleep by now?" I ask as I walk up to her. 

"Oh Captain Fuegoleon. I'm sorry." She says bowing and start to stand up getting ready to leave. 

It was then, I didn't want her to leave but I don't know why I didn't want her to leave. I wanted her to stay by my side. 

"It's fine (y/n). Stay if you want. As I said before you don't have to talk to me in such formalities when we're alone. Just Fuegoleon is fine." I say to her, sitting by her. 

She nods with a small smile before looking up at the sky again. 
"Fuegoleon, may I ask you a question?" 

"Yes, of course." 
"Why'd you choose me to be on your squad... especially a commoner at that." 

"I don't see you as a commoner. I see you in equal footing, of course in the exception that you are my subordinate now. I chose you because I can sense a lot of power coming from you. I believe that you could make a great asset to my team." I say and she looks at me with shock. 

"You can sense my mana?" She asks. 
"Yes, and you have quite a bit of as well." 
She chuckles, "thank you." 

"Why'd you choose to become a magic knight anyway?" I ask her and her smile is gone. 

I wonder why though. 

"For my younger brother. He always looked up to the Crimson Lions saying how they were strong and wanted to join one day. But one day he got really sick. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. So I'm fulfilling his dream for him." She says and immediately stands up. 

"I'm getting quite tired. It was nice talking to you. Good night." She says with a bow and goes back inside. 

I didn't realize I was watching her until she was out of my sight. What was this feeling in my chest? I never had this feeling before, but I really liked it. 

Is this what people call love?

Luck: 
**his p.o.v**

"Where are you (y/n)?" I said laughing while looking around the Black Bull base. She hid her man pretty well, so it's kind of hard to look for her at the moment. She said if I could find her, then we could fight.
