"What. The. Fuck?"

Shizuo spun around in this foreign world, it looked like Japan, but it felt nowhere near it. Though he could clearly hear Japanese in the background, there was no way that this was Japan. There was people with snakes as hair, people with ten arms, and lots lots more.

Shizuo was confused. And that, could be the understatement of the century. One day, he woke up in a dumpster and found himself here. Was this a prank? If so, Izaya must have hired very good makeup artists to conjure things of this scale. But besides the people, the technology was also far advanced. Everyone was looking at their rectangular devices which Shizuo could only imagine are phones. And when he took out his own flip phone, everyone stared at him as if he was caveman.

Shizuo walked around, like he was a nine year old in an amusement park, looking around in awe. He thought he was a monster, look at these other people! The more he walked around, the more it confirmed his worse suspicions. This wasn't a prank. This was very real.

Shizuo was deep in thought while crossing the street when he bumped into someone. Real hard. So hard that he fell butt first onto the ground.

"What the...? At least apologise..." Shizuo muttered. Then, when he got up, there was a green haired teen, running towards him, arms waving, screaming to run.

"Wha-" A loud bang. Shizuo was flying. He was hit by a truck.

He landed splat onto the ground, and then a few people surrounded him, a familiar face being the green haired teen.

"Are you okay? An ambulance is coming right now!" The green haired teen said. He looked like he was on the verge of tears.

"I'm fine kid, call the ambulance off." Shizuo answered back causally, getting up and patting off the dirt off his pants.

"Are you really okay? You...you need to get checked, seriously! It's...just adrenaline, so lie back down!" The green haired teen worriedly ushered the blonde to stay back down.

"Well, maybe I can get more information out of this."

"You. The green haired one." Shizuo pointed at him.

"M-Me?" The teen pointed at himself in shock.

"Yeah you, follow me. I have a few questions." Shizuo replied.

The teen looked at him with a look mixed with confusion and astonishment. "No! Sir, you have to go to the hospital, there's no way a normal person can survive..." Mid way through his sentence, he stopped, like something just clicked in place.

"It's because of your quirk, isn't it? That's cool! I'm sorry, I didn't consider it first, it looked like you really did get hurt..." The teen apologised while blushing.

Quirk? What the hell was that?

"Yeah kid, I have a couple of questions, you mind? And call off that ambulance, I don't need it." Shizuo fired back rather impatiently.

"Uh...okay, sure."

"So, what are quirks, exactly?" Shizuo asked, getting straight to the point.

The teen looked stunned, as if he had asked something he wasn't supposed to. "You... don't know about quirks?"

"What, is this common knowledge? No. I don't. That's why I'm asking." Shizuo pressed on.

"Okay...uh...quirks are kind of like superpowers, but they're actually genetic mutations that gives you a special kind of ability. And everyone's are unique. It's...kind of hard to explain...um, sir, do you have a quirk?" The teen quickly summarised, before asking Shizuo.

"Me? Uh, no. I think I'd know if I have one." Shizuo responded.

The teen's face went ghost white. "No, no, no! You're lying! You have to go to hospital! I'm calling a cab, the ambulance won't get here in time!"

"Wait! I'm really okay! Just...fuck." Shizuo looked at the panicked teen calling for a taxi. Shizuo sighed. If it meant the damn kid would stop worrying over him, then might as well just go.

"Are you okay? Do you feel light headed, or any kind of pain?" The teen kept asking, and asking, to the point where Shizuo was about to explode.

"I. Am. Fine. Just...stop asking." Shizuo managed to grit out. And judging by the his reaction, looks like Shizuo's darkening aura has warded off the teen.

"That'll be two thousand yen." The teen emptied his wallet, barely paying off the fee.

Shizuo felt bad. As annoying and whiney as he was, he was genuinely worried and was trying his best.

"Here." Shizuo handed the him two thousand yen.

"No! I can't take this!" The teen waved his hands, refusing Shizuo.

"Just shut up and take it." He forcibly stuffed the money into the teen's arms and walked off to the hospital.

"Umm...sir? These notes aren't valid anymore, actually, I've never even seen one before..." The teen pointed at the money.

"What? Wait, then what year is it?" Shizuo asked.

"It's...2148..."

Shizuo couldn't believe his ears. He was in the future? He couldn't help but stumble back. This isn't possible.

"What year were you in?" The teen asked.

"2004..." Shizuo muttered. He travelled nearly a hundred and fifty years into the future.

"That's impossible...and you definitely don't look that old! Like I said, it has to be your quirk!" The teen argued.

"I don't have one!" Shizuo shouted.

After that, the teen started mumbling. "You have to get tested. That way we'll know for sure."

Next thing they knew, they were walking in the hospital to get Shizuo tested for a quirk.

"He's quirkless. One hundred percent." The doctor proclaimed.

"That... impossible! Even minus the time travel, he still survived getting hit by a truck without a scratch! There, there has be some sort of mistake here." The teen
explained.

"Look. I don't know what to say about this 'time travel'," The doctor said. "But dare I say it, this guy is completely nuts. The tests we've done have a near one hundred percent success rate. This guy is just insane, nothing less. He just imagined everything."

"But...the truck..." The teen continued to try and defend his case.

"It's okay kid. Maybe he is right." Shizuo assured, patting the teen's head.

"No, I'm by your side." The teen insisted.

Shizuo sighed. He did get himself in quite the situation. "Doctor, I have some old currency, I'm sure it'll be worth something." Shizuo put a wad of cash into the doctor's pocket and walked off along with the teen.

"You're a good kid. What's your name?"
Shizuo asked.

"Midoriya Izuku."

"Mine's Heiwajima Shizuo. Listen, I know you have a lot of questions, but the doctor is right. I have no quirk. I'm going to explain this, whether you believe it or not is up to you. And-" Before Shizuo could finish his sentence, his calm feelings were instantly shattered by someone in the distance.

Izaya.

A/N: My writer's block is finally gone, so maybe a new chapter the next couple of days. Also the whole BNHA is set in 2148, I'm not really sure if it's true or not, I just put in the first thing I saw in Google. So pretend it's true.
