The Myths

C H A P T E R O N E

"Alexis!, seriously, I dont care about these stupid myths, they're not real" Keira says as she grabs her bag from her locker. "But what if they are, I mean, think about it, how did they come up with these myths anyways? there's a fifty percent chance that they're real" I say as I look into a book full of creepy, beautiful, mysterious creatures. "Fine then, read me some" Keira says and turns around and looks at me. I flip a couple of pages then point to a page,"A werewolf is a person who changes a period of times into wolf form, mostly on a full moon, it is said they were cursed by the witch Idana, one of the most powerful witches, she cursed all members that lived up in the woods, she cursed them because of Lyla, Lyla didnt fulfill her promise, and therefore she and the rest of her friends a family up there were cursed." I said and finished reading that page. "Oh my god, that's a bunch of bull crap!" Keira says. "It says any relative of Lyla will have the curse to" I said. "Keep on reading, I guess." Keira says annoyed. I flip a few more pages, "A witch is known as a woman with magical powers, good or evil, it says witches are some of the most beautiful creatures in the planet, no one knows how witches are on the planet, they don't know how to find them either, they just appear, but witches can also be deadly" I finish and close my book. "Ya done now?" Keira ask and I nod, then we start walking out the door to her truck, "Amber and Leticia are gonna meet us at my house tonight, they said they invited Clara, Brianna, and Jillian over to" Keira says and gets into her truck. I get in the passenger seat, "okay" I say. Once we get there its about 8:00 a clock. "You never said we were going to you're vacation house up in the woods" I said and looked over at her. She shrugged and got out of her car and I followed. All of them were already here so we all just sat on the couch and put on a scary movie. Then all of a sudden I get a migraine,and I put my hands on my head and run outside. "Alexis!?"Amber yells and they all follow me out. "It hurts!" I scream and I just keep on screaming. "Alexis, you're eyes are turning into a really bright gre- Amber!?" Keira says and I glance over at Amber, the same thing was happening to her. Her eyes were a bright blue, and she had a tail. Then i felt my insides burning and I start screaming. Then I'm on all fours. I look over at Amber, and she's a wolf, a grey wolf with blue eyes. "Alexis! Amber!, you two, are wolves!" Brianna says, freaking out. Amber looks at me and her and I run into the forest.
