The Myths

C H A P T E R S I X

There, laying on the kitchen table, was a lifeless body. I don't know who it is, not sure I want to. Then I saw someone in the shadows, they had glowing yellow eyes. I grip onto my knife and glare at them, "Who are you?"I growled, my eyes turning into a red color. When they stepped out, I wasn't suprised to see Brianna, who hated us for no logical reason. "Keep me out of your sick games" I muttered, knowing she could hear me. She was about to say something until I heard someone wake up, then she was just, gone. Amber and the others walked in, and saw the body.

"What the hell!" Lizzy shrieked, looking at me terrified, thats when I remembered my eyes are still red. I quicklu blinked and then they turned back to normal.

"I found it here when I woke up," I said then walked over to Amber, "It was Brianna" I whispered in her ear and walked into the living room.

I grabbed my suitcase, walked upstairs into the bathroom and changed. I put on some black leggings and a floral crop top with a white tank top underneath, with black bear paws. Then I brushed my hair, teeth, and did my make up, the same as usual, black eye liner and mascara. Then I went downstairs, grabbed my black purse and walked out the door and got in Amber's car, which still had the keys in it, and drove to the school. Once I got there I texted Keira, Leticia, Luke, Vicky, Jakob, Jillian, Clara, and Amber to meet me there. 

When they got there, I could tell that Keira was pissed that I woke her up at three in the morning. "Why did you want us to meet up here this fucking early Alexis?" 

"We're staying here until school starts, so I recomend getting ready so you're not going to your classes in sponge bob sweats and an over sixed adida's sweater with bunny slippers" I said. She glared at me and walked up to me and got in my face.

"I'm not going to take your bullshit, say what you need to say or I will fight you" she said. I was shocked, then I remembered for the next few weeks her emotions are going to be going haywire since she just got her magic activated. I just held my head higher, I'm an alpha, and if she likes it or not, even if she's not a wolf, even if none are wolves, they're still part of my pack, and so is she. 

"Bring it, I'm not scared of someone who can't even control their magic" I growled, crossing my arms. She glared at me, but got the message and backed down.

"Brianna's back, or, well, she was never gone, but, she's trying to cause trouble, we need to be careful, we still arent sure if Clara, Jillian, and Leticia are something yet, and me and Amber don't have total control over ourselves, and Keira doesnt know how to use her magic correctly, and we don't want anyone finding out." I finished and waited for a response.

"Well, um, about that," Amber started and looked down, "Lizzy and Elizabeth saw you, they know something up" she said and started tapping her foot. I sighed and shook my head.

"Oh well, okay, guys, you need to get ready, you're still in pajamas, I know where theres extra clothes in the school, now we just need to get in" I said and Clara walked up to the window and punched it. "Clara?!" I shouted, her hand was bleeding, really bad. Luke ran over to her and dragged her back. That's when Vicky and Jakob's eyes got wide, and they seemed afraid of her.

"What is it?" I asked.

"She's a succubus, look at her eyes" Jakob said, clearly uncomfortable.That's when I realized, Clara's eye were turning pink.

"What's a succubus?" Jillian asked.

"A creature who feed's off love, they can be very dangerous, and can kill someone, but really the only actual way to calm her down and heal her is, well, you get the point" I said.

"Jakob, come here" Luke said, and of course Jakob listened, and walked over to Luke and Clara. Thats when Clara grabbed him and this weird blue mist started coming out of Jakob's mouth. Then Jakob started getting really weak. I ran over there and knocked Clara on the ground before she killed him.

"I'm sorry, I couldnt control it" Clara muttered and I let her up. I nodded and went through the broken window, followed by the other, Jakob coming in last. 

"Okay, Luke, Jakob, the boys locker room is down the hall, there should be an office there with drawers, look through them and pick out some clothes" I said and they walked off, then the girls and I went into the girls locker room and they got changed while I played on my phone. Amber was wearing a plain white shirt with a black leather jacket with black shorts and black and white checkered sneakers. Keira was wearing a cheeatah print top with no straps with regular skinny jeans and black convers. Clara was wearing a pink tank top with white lettering on it that said L O V E and she was wearing white booty shorts and white heals. Jillian was wearing elephant print leggings with a blue lacey top and black knee high boots, then Vicky was wearing a green crop top and regular skinny jeans and black heals. When we were all done we got out and we found the boys sitting in the hall, Luke was wearing a checkered red and black shirt with regular jeans and black sneakers, then Jakob was wearing a blue shirt with basketball shorts and blue sneakers.

"Okay, let's go up to the library and stay there until school opens" I say and we all head up stairs to the library. Once we get there we go to the back room and stay there until school opens.
