The Myths

C H A P T E R N I N E

I woke up the next morning, same as usual, Vicky passed out on the floor crying, had to much to drink. I sighed and woke her up, "Vicky, we got school" I said and she slowly got up. I walked over to my closet and grabbed a black t-shirt with black ripped jeans and black heels,  then I got changed, did my hair and my make up, then waited for Vicky to get ready. She was wearing a black shirt with white polka dots and black leggings with white converse. I grabbed my purse and walked downstairs to my car, with Vicky right behind me. I got into the drivers seat and her the passenger seat and we drove to school. 

When we get there, she quickly gets out of the car and runs inside, trying to avoid her brother as much as possible. I shrug and get out of the car, only to see Amber and Keira across the parking lot just staring at me. I glared at them, then flipped them off and walked away.

Amber's P.O.V

"Damn she just looks worse and worse everyday" I muttered to Keira, as I watched Alexis walk away, she was clearly still hurting over Keira and I ditching her, but hey, she didn't know how to run things, or at least I thought she didn't, but she sure in hell did keep Vicky able to calm down, even though Vicky hated her. 

"She actually, seems to be doing better then us, Amber, I think we made the wrong choice" Keira said quietly, not wanting Luke to hear if he was nearby, he would hit her and push her around, Brianna sure did ruin Luke. I nodded in agreement.

"I don't think she would forgive us though, I mean, we did stab her in the back" I replied, a feeling of grief growing inside me. I felt like crying, being in Luke's pack made me miserable, and he treats us like slaves, he might as well have let Brianna take over. Luke's pack wasn't always this bad, we were pretty good at the beginning, until Brianna and Josh joined, they ruined everything. "We need to leave Luke's pack, at least until he's in his right mind, we both know he's not the bad guy here, its Brianna and Josh, but we need to get Alexis to let us join her pack" I finally said.

Keira nodded, agreeing that we were'nt safe where we are now. "Come on, we have to talk to her, I mean, she can't hate us forever" 

Alexis's P.O.V

I sat outside, alone, enjoying the quiet, until Clara and Jillian ran up to me, "Alexis, Keira and Amber would like to speak with you, want me to send them back?" Clara said and I just stared at her.

"No, its, um, fine, they can come see me, oh, and you don't have to guard me, we're in school, not a battle ground" I said and Clara just nodded and walked off, Jillian following her. Then Amber and Keira showed up, with apologetic eyes. "Okay, you have thirty minutes, say what you have to say then leave" I growled, showing that I don't trust them one bit.

"We're sorry, I'm sorry, Alexis, you were my best friend, and I don't want to lose you, I shouldn't have chose Luke over you, I guess you could just say that, well, I was head over heels for him, but he's a monster, he let Brianna and her boyfriend take over, they are planning a battle, mostly so they can kill you.." Keira said but stopped talking when Amber glared at her, so it looks like Amber doesn't want to apologize, whatever.

"What we mean is, we're sorry, will you allow us back into your pack of.. strange creatures.." Amber said, sneering the last part.

"I have to talk to Vicky and the others about that", I said and grabbed my phone and text-ed them: meeting out by the curb, Keira and Amber have something to say to all of us. 

In a few minutes everyone shows up, Vicky, Clara, Jillian, Leticia, and the newest member that we picked up, Alison. Everyone glared at Amber and Keira, and Vicky was growling. I could see Amber and Keira looking at Alison with curiosity, so I filled them in, "Alison is the newest member of my pack, her secret will remain known only to those that didn't betray me" I said, and I could see the anger in Amber's eyes. Keira quickly stepped forward, obviously trying to make amber stop, so they won't get nipped by Vicky.

"So, uh, we wanted to apologize, we shouldn't have chosen Luke over you guys, and we're sorry, please let us into your pack, please" Keira begged, doing the puppy dog face.

"We'll have a vote, raise your hand if you think we shouldn't give them another chance", right when I said that Vicky and Alison raised their hands, "raise your hand if you think we should give them another chance", then Clara and Jillian raised their hands, and I looked over at Leticia, "Letty, you have to vote, you're the tie breaker" I said.

"Um, I guess.. give them another chance.."She murmured, and Vicky glared at her. I nodded and turned over to Amber and Keira.

"Don't screw it up, because this is the last chance you get".
