C H A P T E R S E V E N

We walked around school in our little group, Keira standing closer to Luke then anyone, it was kinda weird. I just shrug it off and keep walking around, then I see Brianna, with people I've never seen before in this school. She just stands there and glares at me, for what? I don't know. I sigh and walk right past her and go into art class and take my seat, Vicky followed me in. "Okay class, well to start out today, I want to welcome our new student, Vicky" Ms.Brookings said as she walked in class.

Amber's P.O.V

I begin walking to my next class when my ex, Connor, walks up to me, "So, Amber, how about we head out back and smoke some weed with my buddies and maybe everything can be like old times.." wow he was really fucking high right now, we broke up because he called me a slutty ass skank that should just drop dead, but of course Alexis took care of him, by kicking him in the balls and then pulling me away.

"Sorry Connor, but I don't feel like hanging out with a douche like you, so back the fuck off, okay?" I said and shove right past him and go to science. I go over and sit down next to Ashley, my science partner. I kind of just space off, why are we in school when there's so many other things to worry about, like, there's no fucking point of it anyways, so why am I even here, oh, right, because apparently Alexis knows what she's doing even though she has no god damn clue, we should just have Luke be the fucking alpha.

I could feel anger bubbling inside of me, its a thing wolves have, they get angry a lot easier then we used to, I take in a sharp breathe, stand up, and walk out of class and go and pull everyone else out of class as well, Alexis, Luke, Keira, Jakob, Vicky, Leticia, Clara, and Jillian. "I think we should make a vote who should be alpha, I think it should either be Alexis, or Luke, so we are doing a vote, now" I say and Luke looks like he's gonna crack up laughing. "Whats so funny?" I say sharper then I meant to.

"It doesn't work like that, we would have to change into wolf form and fight until the other one gives up, but to be honest, I'd rather fight for the Beta spot" he says and glares at me threateningly. I clench my teeth and start growling, anger boiling inside me, how dare he threaten me, he know's he should be Alpha, not Alexis, he even told me when we were training, what is he playing at?

"Okay, guys stop, Amber will stay Beta, okay, and Amber, this is not the time to discuss this, and we have bigger problems then who is who in this stupid pack which if I could I would choose for it to not be formed but it is and there's nothing we can do about it, okay?" Alexis says as she steps into me and Luke. I nod and take a step back, Luke just growled and did the same.

Keira's P.O.V

Of course, every ones involved even though this is clearly a wolf thing, but, I guess it's nice to be welcomed here, even though I have no idea how to control my magic, it's nice to know they don't fear me. I could still feel the tension in the air, I know I should stick to what Alexis says, but there's something about Luke that makes me feel rebellious. I step up, when it's clearly not my role. "I think Amber has a point, sort of, maybe everyone should fight for a role they want, I mean, I like just being a member of, whatever this is, but what about everyone else, why should Alexis get to choose what goes on around here" I said, trying to be brave, but that look in Alexis's eyes, I could tell this was gonna end badly.

"Fine, I will have my own pack, anyone wanting to stick to my leading, join my pack, anyone that doesn't, have fun dealing with Luke" Alexis says, and I start to see everyone looking around, picking someone. Clara walks over to Alexis.

"Alexis has been there for me when no one else was, I'm sticking with her, sorry, Luke" she says and stands a little taller. Jillian did the same, and surprisingly so did Vicky. Amber walked over to Luke, with me and Jakob, and well, Leticia just stood there, then went over to Alexis.

"Letty?!" I said, surprised.

"I don't trust Luke, there's something off with him.." she said quietly but didn't budge. I glare at her, feeling betrayed.

"Well, I guess this is where we part, Keira, you will be my Beta" Luke said, I looked over at him, and a weird satisfying feeling went into my chest.

"Vicky, you'll be my Beta, goodbye, Luke" Alexis snarled, but then looked over at Amber and I could just see the hurt in her eyes, and when she looked at me, it was still there, we broke her, and I can tell it won't be the same between us, never again. Then I remembered, Alexis helps me control my magic, she sort of made it come out, she's like my anchor, and now my anchor's gone, a part of me, is just, gone.
